Little Lane is located near the top of Wood Road, which twists and winds up, up and away from the Snowmass Base Village.

To get there by car, you take Brush Creek Rd off of Highway 82 (the main road from Glenwood Springs, Aspen, or the Aspen airport). As Brush Creek Rd approaches Snowmass Village, you’ll notice a wooden pedestrian footbridge over the road and a Conoco gas station on your right. At the Conoco, you want to take a left onto Wood Road. On Wood Road you’ll drive past the Viceroy, and pass below the gondola. As you ascend farther up Wood Road, you’ll leave the condos and Base Village behind you in favor of luxurious private homes. The road switchbacks several more times, and eventually, you’ll pass under a bridge (which is actually the Adam’s Avenue ski run) and the entrance to Bridge Lane: keep climbing. At the next hairpin turn to the left, Little Lane will be on your right. Turning right onto Little Lane, you’ll see the parking spaces for the house immediately on your left, with a sign for Sneaky’s and the number 20. Park here, and head up to the house along the concrete path. The house is painted grey, with a blue metal roof and a turquoise door: welcome!

What to do ….?

• If there is a maintenance issue or equipment failure, please contact property manager immediately and he will get it taken care of as soon as possible. • If you’re locked out, please call the property manager. If he’s unavailable, please call the local locksmith to regain access to the house. Village Locksmith 970.923.2351 • Trash and recycling materials will be disposed of by housekeeping staff at the end of your stay. Should you need to dispose of trash or recycling before the end of your stay, please contact the property manager and he will direct you to the location of dumpsters within Snowmass Village available for disposal. Trash and recycling items should not be left outside in any season, as they can attract wildlife and make a mess. • There is no postal service to the house via the US Postal Service. You can however have items shipped to/from the house address using UPS and FedEx. • Snowmass Village has had many, many incidents of black bears breaking into houses and cars during the summers and fall where food is present. While they are generally not a threat to humans, if a bear is seen in the area, please call the local wildlife officers at the Snowmass Police Department. For non-emergencies: 970.923.5330 For emergencies: 911 • There is often an extreme fire hazard in the area during the dry months of summer and fall. Please be aware of any potential fire hazards (cigarette butts, grills, bonfires, fireworks, etc.), and report any signs of forest fire or residential fire immediately by calling the Snowmass Fire Department. To Ski Out From the House:

Take the Guggenhill Trail, accessible from the patio. Follow it across Little Lane and along the side of the road for 100 ft, then head left, down the hill, across the driveway and between two houses: there is a ski trail sign located downhill of the driveway. While this trail is maintained, it is the more challenging trail.

Or walk/ski 2/10 of a mile down Wood Road to the underpass. Turn left onto Bridge Ln and continue another 50 ft to the cut in the embankment on the right-hand side of the road. Turn right at this embankment and you’ll be at the side of a groomed intermediate ski trail called Adams Avenue. Take this run to the Village below. This is the easy way to ski out. Walking to this bridge below is about 200 yards and takes about 5 minutes.

Or walk 2/10 of a mile up Wood Road to the Thorton Gate/Road. The gate/road is just above Janss Ln on the right-hand side. If you turn right and walk out the road/’cat walk’ about 50 ft, you’ll be at the side of a groomed intermediate ski trail called Green Cabin. If you have a pre-loaded (by phone or internet) or a multi-day ski pass, ski down from here to the Coney Glade lift to avoid the crowds at the bottom of the mountain and get a jump on the powder snow. (Hint: this is where you will return to at the end of the day to ski back to the house, so it’s a good idea to familiarize yourself with the scenery and landmarks along this section of Green Cabin.)

Or walk 3/10 of a mile up Wood Road to the top of the road, where it dead-ends in a cul-de-sac turn around. As you enter the turn around, you’ll see a house directly ahead. To the left of this house and driveway, climb over the low embankment and put on your skis. From here you can ski down/across to the Alpine Springs lift and again, avoid the lower part of the mountain if you already have your ski pass for the day.

To Ski In From the Ski Slope:

Take the Green Cabin run and near the lower portion of the run stay to the left where it splits (the right-hand part goes toward the Alpine Springs lift, and the left-hand side goes towards the Coney Glade lift). Just below this juncture, stick to the right-hand side of the trail along the houses and look for the round, red and white ‘target’ sign. At the sign, take a hard right turn onto the ‘cat walk’ and follow it 50 ft to Wood Road. Follow the trail down to the left (it parallels Wood Road and is signed) and across Janss Ln. Just below the tennis courts, you’ll see the house on your left, and can either ski right up to the patio, or follow down the groomed trail to where it meets Little Ln.
