THREATS! AAAAAAAAH!!The IUCN lists snow leopards as “Endangered”, and there are around 4,000-6,500 left in the wild while there are about 600-700 in zoos around the world. The threats to the species are: Poachers killing them for their fur Decrease in habitat Decline in prey Farmers killing them when they feel threatened by snow

What is being doneOrganizations like Snow Leopard Trust and the World Wildlife Fund are helping by setting up natural parks to protect against poachers, and local governments around Mongolia are talking to farmers about the danger of hunting these animals

What can you do?Symbolically adopting a snow leopard donates to the WWF and helps them stop the rapid decline of the species before it goes extinct, or you can help by spreading the word of the danger snow leopards are in to your friends.
