Even if skiing and boarding isn’t for you, we’re sure we can provide an experience worthy of the photo album! From Luxury accommodation and fine dining, to bunk-rooms and burgers, tubing and groomer rides, open fires and music gigs, the choice is almost endless.

First time skiers and boarders can find their feet on the dedicated learner lift and beginner area, with professional instruction at hand to boost their learning curve. More experienced riders have a multitude of world class park features to choose from. Our playground offers ever changing jumps, rails, boxes, wall rides, New Zealand’s only quarterpipe, a pristine 22ft halfpipe, and The Bag Jump, sledding, tubing and beginner run. To top it off our cat skiing operates daily.

And of course, if you don’t have your fill by the end of the day, night skiing will take you through til 9pm three nights a week!

The best food in the mountains for breakfast, lunch and dinner! On warm days, the smell of the BBQ is a welcome companion to a sunbaking session on the deck. When the temperature drops, two fireplaces keep everyone cosy inside, while mulled wine and toasted marshmallows on the outdoor fire keep the outdoor adventures going. You can even book out the entire venue for private functions!

Snow Park NZ is situated 35km (40 mins) from Wanaka and 55km (1 hour) from Queenstown.

Like most New Zealand resorts, our road is gravel, and we keep it clear of snow and ice.

Up the same road and only 2km from Snow Park NZ is the world renowned Snow Farm NZ, New Zealand’s only Cross Country Ski Area. Snow Farm NZ offers nordic skiing for the whole family, tubing, snowshoeing, nordic events and even dog sledding at certain times of the year.

Horse riding, a day spa, Adventure Park and the Historic Cardrona Hotel are at the base of the mountain.
