Woodpeckers can even become pests if they learn to drum on wooden wall of a house. Woodpeckers can easily be attract to backyard bird feeders by sunflower seeds or suet. Suet is a kind of animal fat that is very tasty to woodpeckers but other birds. It is fun to watch woodpecker ‘working’ on its hole on a tree trunk.
