Soccer coverage standards - version 1.0

Scout - Match reporter, live match data providing person

Scout requirements

Scout receives a special application from his manager and starts training on match videos.After passing all trainings and tests scout applicant becomes a venue scout and can attend real matches in his region.

Pre match responsibilities.

At least two days before the particular event Scout will receive a match offer in the application.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Scout must check for the match offers daily.

Scout must respond to offer ASAP, at the same day either with OK , which means he takes the match and 100% will cover it, or with CANCEL which means that he cannot cover the match. If CANCEL is chosen, then scout need to leave a comment about the reason explaining why he cannot attend the match.

So if the scout wishes to cover the match he presses OK.

Match day

The Scout needs to fully charge his android device and the additional cell phone.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The battery charge is extremely important, if the battery dies during the match and the match is not fully covered, it will lead to 100% of fee cut, rating 5 and the possible stoppage of the collaboration.

30 minutes before the match

Scout need to be at the venue at his seat at least 30 minutes before the match.30 minutes before the match scout logs in to application with his username and password. Opens the match and

1.Sets home/away jersey colors (if not sure sets the possible ones)2.Sets weather conditions3.Sets pitch conditions

And presses OK.

For support team this means that the scout is at the venue, everything is ok match will start as scheduled.

After it the scout can see the screen with the main buttons, with red background. Which means that the market is closed and the system is in Bet stop mode.

15 minutes before the match

The scout presses Bet Start button on the screen.

The screen goes green, which means that the system is in Bet Start mode.

IMPORTANT NOTE: not opening the market until match start may lead to fee cuts.

2-3 minutes before the match

When the players are coming out from the tunnel the Scout pushes on the Menu button of the android device, finds the option Free Text pushes it then from the opened pop-up chooses Players are coming out option and pushes SEND.

Then from the same Free Text option the scout sends following events.

1. Players are coming out (already mentioned) - when the players are coming out from the tunnel.

2. Players are lined up when the players are lined to introduce themselves to the crowd.

3. Coin Flipping when the captains and the referee stand by for coin flipping.

4. Game about to start - when the teams take their places at the pitch and linesmen are checking the nets.

5. Kick off HOME/AWAY - when the scout is absolutely sure which team will kick off for match start.

Match start procedure

Match start is a too important event and no delay should be made.

To be sure that match start will be sent on time, before the match start when the referee checks that everything is ok to start the match, the scout need to push the menu button on his device push Match Start and then wait for the referee to blow the whistle and push SEND exactly at that moment.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Delaying match start may lead to 100% of fee cut, so please be very accurate and start the match using the method mentioned above. Server receives Match Start event only when you push SEND.

Match covering procedure

1. Match status events

Ball SafeAttackDangerous Attack

This entries indicate the ball position and are used frequently.

Ball Safe

Push Ball Safe button then on the team name who possesses the ball to send Ball Safe event for that team.

Ball Safe event for the team needs to be sent when the team possesses the ball on its own part of the field or takes Goal Kick, Free Kick or Throw In on its own part of the field.

Attack

Push Attack button then on the team name who possesses the ball to send Attack event for that team.

Attack event needs to be sent when the team with the ball possesses the ball or takes the Free Kick or Throw In on the opponents part of the field in the zone shown in the image below.a

Dangerous Attack

Push Dangerous Attack button then on the team name which possesses the ball to send Dangerous Attack event for that team.

Dangerous Attack event needs to be sent when the team possesses the ball or takes the Free Kick or Throw In or Corner on the opponents part of the field in the zone shown in the image below.

IMPORTANT NOTE 1: Every time ball possession changes the scout need to update match status by sending the actual ball possession either ball safe , attack or dangerous attack.

IMPORTANT NOTE 2: The scout can send match status events in any sequence except sending Dangerous Attack for home after Dangerous Attack away or vice versa. At last you need to send Ball Safe in between for counter attacking team.

IMPORTANT NOTE 3: Dangerous Attack is more important event then the other match status events, so if there is quick attack you can skip other events, and send Dangerous Attack ASAP if it is not in conflict with IMPORTANT NOTE 2 mentioned right above.

IMPORTANT NOTE 4: Do not rush changing status from Dangerous Attack to Ball Safe, if there is high pressing from attacking team on the defending side which possesses the ball on their own part of the field.

IMPORTANT NOTE 5: EVERY GOAL,EVERY CORNER, EVERY PENALTY must be precede with Dangerous Attack and it is logical, so the scout needs to send Dangerous Attack before the Goal, Penalty and Corner. Missing Dangerous Attack before this events may lead to 100% of fee cut (except corner, there is small fee cut in this cases).

2. Standard situations

For every Throw-in , Free kick, Offside and Corner for one of the teams , push the team name on the screen.

The pop-up will open an image with the field and the ball on the left side to indicate the position from which the standard situation will be taken, and with the buttons of Throw in , Free kick Offside and Corner on the right.

1. Drag the ball to the approximate position

2. Push the standard situation type (Throw in, Free kick, Offside, Corner)

IMPORTANT NOTE 1: You need to change match status to correct one before sending the standard situation. E.G. HOME TEAM is making Dangerous Attack and makes a foul while attacking.

Scout needs to proceed like this

1. Dangerous Attack Home2. Ball Safe Away3. Free Kick Away

As written in the example first the scout changes match status and then sends the standard situation.

IMPORTANT NOTE 2: Correct way to send offside. E.G. HOME TEAM is making Dangerous Attack and caught offside.

1. Dangerous Attack Home2. Offside Home3. Ball Safe Away4. Free Kick Away

3. Goal Kick

Every time the ball crosses the back line from the attacking team scout needs to send Goal Kick for defending team by pushing Goal Kick then on the team name that will take goal kick.

Before Goal Kick scout needs to change match status to Ball Safe for the team that will take the Goal Kick.

4. Yellow Card

Press Yellow Card on the screen then on the team name player of which have received the yellow card.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Every time referee prepares to show the card and the scout is not sure if it is second yellow card for the player the scout must press bet stop before sending the yellow card. And then enter the cards the referee will show. If referee shows the second yellow card to the player the correct procedure of entering cards is.

5. Red Card

Press Red Card on the screen then on the team name player of which have received the red card. The pop-up will open to Confirm or Undo the Red Card (never use the Cancel button, use undo instead). Press Confirm to confirm or press Undo to undo the red card.

IMPORTANT NOTE 1: Every time there is a harsh tackle and a very high possibility of the Red Card, scout needs to push Bet Stop to wait and see what the referee will show.

IMPORTANT NOTE 2: Red Card generates an automatic Bet Stop event, scout needs to open the market by pressing Bet Start after game restarts.

IMPORTANT NOTE 3: Red Card is very important event, missing or delaying the red card, or confirming wrong red card may lead to fee cut up to 100%, depending on how many seconds was market open with the wrong score of Red Cards.

6. Penalty

Press Penalty button on the screen then on the team name to whom the penalty was awarded.

The pop-up will open with options Scored, Missed, Canceled, Undo, Red Card 1, Red Card 2.

Scored when the penalty is scored and scout is 100% sure that it is.

Missed, when the penalty is missed and scout is 100% sure that it is missed.

Canceled - never use (just as with red card, never use this button)

Undo - press undo to undo the penalty.

Red Card 1 - For a red card home team. (be attentive, no confirmation pop-up)

Red Card 2 - For a red card away team. (be attentive, no confirmation pop-up)

IMPORTANT NOTE 1: Penalty generates an automatic betstop. So scout needs to open the market after he finished with the penalty events. And the game continues.

IMPORTANT NOTE 2: If there is yellow card shown after a penalty awarded, wait for the penalty procedure to be finished and then add the yellow card (or cards one by one) and then open the market by pressing Bet Start.

IMPORTANT NOTE 3: Open the market after the penalty procedure only when you have entered all the events happened (yellow cards, red cards, scored or missed, etc).

IMPORTANT NOTE 4: Dangerous Attack needs to be send before penalty (100% of fee cut if no).

7. Goal

Press Goal button on the screen then on the team name to which have scored.The pop-up will open with options Confirm, Undo and Cancel.Never use Cancel button use undo instead.

Wait for the teams to kick off from the center and press Scored.

If goal did not count or send by mistake push Undo.

IMPORTANT NOTE 1: Goal event generates automatic Bet Stop, the scout needs to open the market after the game continues. If the yellow card is shown during the goal confirmation procedure, wait for teams to kick off, enter the yellow card and then open the market by pressing Bet Start. The same with the red card.

IMPORTANT NOTE 2: Dangerous Attack needs to be sent before the penalty (100% of fee cut if no).

8. Bet Stop

Bet Stop is a too important button, as mentioned before, automatic bet stop is being generated in many situations. But scout also needs to use this button by himself every time when

1. Players are fighting2. One to one situation3. Unclear Situation4. Every time there is very high possibility of goal, red card or penalty happen.

IMPORTANT NOTE 1: Do not use this button very frequently , in average bet stop button is needed to be pressed 5-6 time per match.

IMPORTANT NOTE 2: After Bet Stop screen goes red , it will serve scout as an indicator for scout to be aware that the market is closed.

IMPORTANT NOTE 3: Scout needs to open the market by pushing bet start after the situation is clarified and all high priority event scores are checked and correct.

9. Substitution

Push Menu button on the device, choose Substitution then the team and, press ok.

10. Injury time

Push Menu on the device, then choose Injury Time, then set how many minutes added to the time, and press OK.

11. Color change

Push Menu on the device, choose Color change, It will open the Jersey color setting pop-up, set the Jersey colors , Weather and Pitch condition (altogether needs to be set if you wish to change anything).

12. Swap teams

Change the teams position on the screen swaps automatically in the second half.

13. Half end/Second half end

Push Menu button on the device, choose Half end to end the half, if it is the second half, system will ask if is the End Match or it is Extra time.

Choose End match to end the match.

14. Event cancellation

Drag the finger on the left side of the screen and move it right to open the events send list.

The scout can cancel any event from the list (except bet start, bet stop) if it is in last 3 list.

To cancel the event, push the event and in opened pop-up choose Cancel.

15. Second half start

Before starting the second half scout needs to send two pre half events.

1.Players are coming out - when players get back from the tunnel2.Game about to start - when the second half is about to start

Then go to the Menu of the device, choose Second Half start, wait for the referee whistle and press Confirm, just as with match start.

Second half start delaying is same type of mistake as match start delaying so same type of fee cut is applied.
