Twitter allows you to share short 140-character

messages publically.

Messages on Twitter are known as tweets.

Twitter users who choose to follow you will see

your posts in their newsfeed. Likewise you can

follow users who interest you.

It is possible to curate your newsfeed to only

contain information that is of interest.
