Let’s look at some Statistics:

There are 900 million users on Facebook, almost 5 million in South Africa.

Twitter has 500 million users and around 1.1 million in South Africa.

LinkedIn has 120 million users world wide and about 1.6 million in South Africa

Globally, 100 million people use YouTube.There are over 156 million blogs on the Internet.

Interact with people, hence the term “Social Media.” Post useful and interesting content. Balance posts between Marketing/Useful info/Humour. Mix posts up between text, pictures and videos. Have a “Call To Action” each step of the way. Allocate 5 - 10 hours per week for Social Media. Use each Social Media tool for a different purpose in

your overall strategic plan. Be creative and stand out from the crowd. Seeing results from your Social Media efforts takes time. DO NOT SPAM!
