Facebook – Objectives

Objectives:

• Engage with our clients.

• Provide them interesting content and localized information about Getty Images Spain.

• Get new clients.

• Increase our number of fans on our GI Facebook page.

Target:

• Creative and designers.

• Photographers

• Corporate

• Media

We don’t want to have a high number of fans that are not part of our target.

Facebook – Launching

• We decided to launch our new Getty Images Spain page on Facebook during the last edition of El Sol, the most important advertising festival in Spain.

• It was an event were we could find the target we are looking for and we had presence there through the Free Thinking Zone.

• It was the perfect opportunity to promote our new page on Facebook. Poster with QR code and information about the event was posted on our page.

Second step has been to increase editorial visibility by posting 1 or 2 relevant local content or event that are covered in Spain.

Third step has been to add archival material.

Facebook Ads Promote our GI Facebook page trough the Facebook ads. Low budget and very targeted focus. Wall to Wall Create connections with other agencies and magazines related to advertisement, graphic design and photography. HERO Banner We used our Homepage Banner to promote our Facebook Page.

Facebook Ads We published two targeted Facebook ads With different text and images. They were launched on 6 and 8 of July.

First Contest - Getty mugs Increase number of fans. Increase participation on our page. Engagement between brand and user. Action: post the most ugly cups of your office. The 3 most voted pictures will receive 10 Getty mugs.

Future Contest - Flying Monkey Increase number of fans and participation. Engagement between brand and user Teaser for next campaign and remember old campaigns (El Sol) We had presence in the last edition of El Sol, advertising festival. We gave some toys called the flying monkeys (teddy monkeys that scream when they were thrown). They became famous and we’d like to use them again to increase our facebook page (major part of our contacts where from El Sol festival). We will produce images, video and contest (details to be defined)
