Meaning of the flagThe yellow background of the Brunei flag

represents the sultan of Brunei.The black and white stripes of the Brunei flag

represents the country's chief ministers.The emblem of Brunei is called the Brunei's Coat

of Arms it contains five components: the flag, royal umbrella, wing, hands, and the crescent symbol of Islam.

The script on the emblem is written in Arabic and means “Always in service with God's guidance”.

Akad nikahThis is the

Female dress: Baju Kurung: A baju kurung is a loose-fitting full length dress, consisting of a skirt and a blouse. The skirt is made from a long cloth with foldings on one side; the blouse is collarless, has long sleeves, and extends to between the hips and knees.

Male clothing: Baju Melayu consists of two main parts. The first being the baju (long sleeved shirt) itself which has a raised stiff collar known as the cekak musang collar. The second part is the trousers called "seluar".The two parts are made out of the same type of fabric which is usually cotton, or a mixture of polyester and cotton.

FestivalsHari Raya Aidilfitri:Hari Raya literally means ‘celebration day’, and Hari Raya Aidilfitri is the

day that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of dawn-to-sunset fasting. Hari Raya Aidilfitri is considered one of the two most important celebrations for Muslims, the other being Hari Raya Haji – the festival of Abraham’s sacrifice.
