IV. FONDS DE RESERVE.

L'Assemblée à sa seizième session ordinaire (1935) a

adopté la recommandation suivante présentée par le Comité

pour le règlement des contributions arriérées :

"....... qu'à 1 1 avenir, tous les paiements reçusau titre de périodes financières précédant de deux ans ou plus la période financière en cours soient versés au fonds de réserve. Lorsque des paiements snnt effectués pour plus d'une période comme c'est le cas dans certains arrangements proposés, la répartition sera faite proportion­nellement" .

V. FONDS DE GARANTIE.

Sur la proposition de la Commission de contrôle

11 Assemblée , à sa seizième session ordinaire (1935), a

décidé de créer un fonds de garantie permettant de suppléer

aux insuffisances éventuelles des crédits dans les budgets

du Secrétariat et de la Cour permanente de Justice interna­

tionale , que 11 Assemblée a sensiblement réduits„

Pour l'année 1936, le fonds sera à la disposition

du Secrétaire général jusqu'à concurrence de 800.000 francs et

la disposition de 11 autorité compétente de la Cour jusqu'à

concurrence de 300.000 francs.

Jusqu'à cette date, le montant versé•

au Fonds de garantie s'élève à .............. 3.119.373,11

Lors de sa seizième et dix-septième session,

I'Assemblée, au sujet des contributions dues par certains

Etats Membres et qui s'élevaient à 20.072.430,56 francs-or,

décida d 'annuler une somme de 11.408.449,53 francs-or et

d 'accepter le règlement du solde, soit 8 -6 6 3 -9 8 1 , 0 3

francs-or, au moyen de versements échelonnés sur plusieurs

années.

Au 31 janvier 1937, il avait été reçu une sor̂ me

dç/8 6 3 .5 1 0 , 8 6 francs-or; le solde était donc de 7 -8 0 0 .470,17

francs-or. Cette somme est payable par versements annuels

échelonnée sur des période s de 1 0 , 2 0 , 40 et 45 ans, con­

formément aux arrangement3 pris avec des différents états

intéressés.

Le versement annuel dû pour 1937, se monte à

I V . RLSFRVS FUND.

The Assembly at its sixteenth ordinary session (1935)

adopted the following recommendation made by the Committee for

Settlement of Contributions in Arrear:

" . . . . that, in future, all payments,received in respect of financial periods preceding, by two years or more, the current financial period should be paid into the Reserve Fund. Where payments are made in respect of more than one period, as in the case of certain arrangements proposed, the appro­priation will be made proportionately."

On. the proposal of the Supervisory Commission,, the

Assembly at its sixteenth ordinary session (1935), decided to

create a Guarantee Fund from which it would be possible to

make good any deficiencies in such credits, included in the

budgets of the Secretariat and permanent Court of International

Justice, as were substantially reduced by the Assembly.

For the year 1936, the Fund will be at the disposal

of the Secretary-General up to fr.800,000 and at the disposal

of the competent authority of the Court up to fr.200,000.

VII. CONSOLIDATED CONTRIBUTIONS

PAYABuL BY ANIMAL INSTALLANTS,

(Decisions of 1935 ant̂ ^53° Assembly ).

At its sixteenth ana seventeenth sessions, the

Assembly decided in respect of the contributions due by certain

Member States which amounted to 20,0 72,430.56 gold francs, to

cancel the sum of 1 1 ,4 0 8 ,4 4 3 - 5 3 gold francs and to accept

payment of the balance, amounting to 8 ,0 6 3 ,9 8 1 . 0 3 gold francs,

by instalments spread over a period of years.

Up to January 31st, 1937> the sum of 8 6 3 ,510.86 gold

francs has been received, leaving a balance of 7 j8 0 0 ,4 7 0 .1 7

gold francs. This sum is payable, by annual instalments over

10, 20, 40 and 45 years, according to the arrangements made

with the several States concerned.

The annual instalment due for 1937 is 2 6 3 ,6 8 0 . 7 3

gold francs.
