HypothesisHypothesisThe majority of high school students

in Seoul(KIS) participate in their after-school activities for

hobbies(particularly in sports), and also because of parental demand and better college; however, it is

hobby and friendship for the students in Illinois(Illinois High

School)There are not much evident differences between two different genders

ConclusionConclusion

For Illinois High School, the second significant motivation was majorly friendship, especially for girls.

Most of the hypothesis was correct; the majority of students are doing

after school activities for their hobbies regardless of gender and

geographical differences

However, the second significant motivation for KIS students was neither Better College nor Parental Demand; it was Others such as rewards.

SignificanceSignificanceAlthough many high-schoolers study

more nowadays, and tend to disregard other recreational

activities than previous days; the best motivation for doing the after-

school activities is Hobby

Can assume that after school activities impact high-schoolers as a

stress-eliminators
