    The soda fountain was invented by Samuel Fahnestock who was born in Lanchaster, Pennsylvania in 1764. He had six kids with his wife, named Barbra Becker. He invented the soda fountain at the age of 55 and he died at the age of 72 in 1836.

    The first soda fountain was invented in Europe but had most success in the U.S.
