Our Software Training module is aimed at general software developers working with GomSpace hardware or software products.
Software Training
The training module gives participants a thorough understanding of the CSP based distributed architecture used in GomSpace products and satellites as well as the GomSpace packages available for custom software development.
The module also contains an introduction to general GomSpace product interfaces and how to write 3rd party software that interfaces to GomSpace products.
Hands-on is an integrated and important part of the workshop and it can be tailored to focus on specific GomSpace products.
The training module can include sparring on mission configuration and operations from a software point of view if requested.
Software Training includes:
• In-depth walktrough of - GomSpace CSP based Software Architecture- GomSpace Command & Management SDK- GomSpace Mission Library
• Introduction to GomSpace- Common interfaces- Product specific interfaces- Interfacing from 3rd party software
• Hands-on sessions
The Package and Requirements:
• Duration: Our Software Training package contains a planned program of up to 30 hours within one work week.
• Booking and planning: The training program must be booked, planned and paid well ahead to ensure we can reserve the best qualified employees to support your mission.
• Training hours: Within normal workhours (9am to 4pm), local time zone where training is held.
• Training type: Training can take place at either GomSpace location in Aalborg, Denmark or at a customer location. Training includes hands on sessions for up to 5 participants. Customer travel costs and stay not included.
• Requirements: Our experienced Software team will lead the training through the week. To get the most out of this training session participants are expected to have basic knowledge of software development in c and preferable knowledge of the Linux operating system.
