The majority of our remediation projects are delivered at a fi xed price.

We have assisted clients to assess liability issues on many sites at acquisition stage and through continual involvement with client architects, planners and engineers during the redevelopment design process we can ensure our solutions dovetail with the redevelopment objectives overall and maintain our reputation for delivery of these solutions at a fi xed price.

Routinely we will deliver the works under a defi ned form of contract for a guaranteed fi xed lump sum which is established at transaction stage. Sometimes this is index linked for a short period to recognise the protracted planning process for some sites. All have been executed successfully to the delight of our broad client base. Our clients get exactly what we promise: delivery of a remedial scheme to regulator sign off by one Company including design and validation.

Target Cost & Risk Share

We have delivered a number of contracts adopting target costs established by third party Consultants working on behalf of vendors or clients prior to sale or purchase. Normally we will have established a signifi cant cost risk item that may be reduced through our direct input and delivery – thereby agreeing a cost saving/sharing mechanism with the client whereby savings are shared equally.

Funding

Since 2008 the outlook for funding many remediation projects has been extremely diffi cult. We have delivered a number of projects now that have realised cash through the delivery process and thereby assisted clients in positive cashfl ow and delivery of a site without inherent liability – unlocking further fi nance funding if required.

Total Risk Transfer

Provectus provides the remediation solution, designing a scheme that can be delivered for regulatory approval at a fi xed price. This provides certainty as to remediation but insurance is then wrapped around our offer to ensure the client gets protection for off-site pollution and future pollution events.

Each deal is different: we provide the complete package and have appointed representatives registered through the FSA who can design the right insurance fi t around the right remediation solution.

Provectus has been providing turnkey brownfi eld remediation solutions for over 20 years to the regeneration industry, adding value to brownfi eld assets at a fi xed price. This has included the fi rst use of in-situ thermal desorption in Europe, fi xed price remediation and enabling works as well as insurance backed risk transfer packages and innovative funding solutions.

Uniquely we have delivered a number of multi million pound total risk transfer packages, combining insurance with fi xed price remediation solutions at transaction stage to enable our clients to achieve best value from environmentally challenging property assets.

This has included the recovery of value from site assets, including open cast coal extraction to help clients fund remediation works in a cash positive way. Building on this experience, we are currently evaluating other open cast coal extraction opportunities in the UK.
