The aim of contest among several of most prestigious universities interms of low carbon housing and self-efficient home design fromacross the world is to promote research in the development of highefficient housing. The objective of the participating teams is todesign and build a home that consume as few natural resources aspossible and produce minimum waste products during their lifecycle. Particular emphasis is put on reducing energy consumptionand on obtaining all the necessary energy from the sun. That factmade have access to upcoming techniques and processes ofreducing the environmental impact as well as keeping the comfortand quality of the design in homes.
