Soldering SafetyAVOID REACHING ACROSS the soldering iron when it is
plugged into the power outlet

Soldering SafetyAvoid breathing in or getting the solder fumes in
your eyes

Soldering SafetyNEVER TOUCH THE ELEMENT OR TIP of the soldering
iron. They are very hot (about 400°C) and will burn you.
Hold wires to be heated with clamps. Keep the cleaning sponge wet during use.
Always return the soldering iron to its stand when not in use. Never put it down on your workbench.
Turn unit off or unplug it when not in use.

Soldering SafetyDO NOT TOUCH the tip of the soldering iron to any
other object to melt or burn it—you will be required to pay for any items that are damaged by carelessness or deliberate fooling around!
