Enviados con la fuerza del Espíritu Santo

Pentecostés Del Santo Evangelio según San Juan 20, 19-23 A la tarde de aquel día primero de la semana, y estando, por miedo a los judíos, cerradas las puertas donde estaban los discípulos, se presentó Jesús en medio de ellos y les dijo: La paz sea con vosotros. Y dicho esto, les mostró las manos y el costado. Los discípulos se alegraron de ver al Señor. Díjoles de nuevo: La paz sea con vosotros: Como mi Padre me envió, así os envío Yo. Y, dicho esto, sopló sobre ellos, y les dijo: Recibid el Espíritu Santo, a quienes perdonareis los pecados, les quedan perdonados, y a quienes se los retuviereis, les serán retenidos.

Oración introductoria Señor Jesús, gracias por salir a mi encuentro al igual que lo hiciste con tus discípulos. Te agradezco por borrar mis miedos y temores. Quiero ser tu enviado, tu representante en medio de este mundo que cada día le cuesta más creer en ti.

Petición Señor, ayúdame a ser valiente para dar testimonio de ti. Dame la gracia de llevar tu luz a tantas personas que caminan en la oscuridad. Que no dude en ser dócil a las dulces inspiraciones de tu Espíritu, para que puedas usarme como Tú quieras.

Meditación del Papa Francisco El sacramento de la Penitencia, de la Reconciliación, también nosotros lo llamamos de la Confesión, surge directamente del misterio pascual. De hecho, la misma noche de la Pascua, el Señor se apareció a los discípulos encerrados en el cenáculo, y, después de dirigirles el saludo "¡La paz con vosotros!", sopló sobre ellos y les dijo: “Recibid el Espíritu Santo. A quienes perdonéis los pecados, les quedan perdonados".

Este pasaje nos revela la dinámica más profunda que contiene este sacramento. En primer lugar, el hecho de que el perdón de nuestros pecados no es algo que podemos darnos a nosotros mismos. No puedo decir: “Me perdono los pecados”. El perdón se pide, se pide a Otro. Y en la Confesión pedimos el perdón a Jesús. El perdón no es el fruto de nuestros esfuerzos, sino que es un regalo, un don del Espíritu Santo, que nos llena con el baño de misericordia y de gracia que fluye sin cesar del corazón abierto de par en par de Cristo crucificado y resucitado.

En segundo lugar, nos recuerda que solo si nos dejamos reconciliar en el Señor Jesús con el Padre y con los hermanos podemos estar verdaderamente en paz. Y esto lo hemos sentido todos en el corazón cuando nos vamos a confesar, con un peso en el alma, un poco de tristeza y cuando sentimos el perdón de Jesús estamos en paz, con esa paz en el alma tan bella que solo Jesús nos puede dar. ¡Sólo Él! Reflexión Jesucristo el día de su resurrección nos da una misión muy grande. Quiere que todos los hombres hagan la experiencia del amor tan grande que Dios les tiene, y nos ha elegido para transmitir su mensaje. Dependerá de nosotros el comunicar esta hermosa noticia al mayor número de personas posibles. Sin embargo, no estamos solos, contamos con el auxilio del Espíritu Santo, el Espíritu de amor, el "Dulce Huésped del alma".

Propósito Hoy pediré al Espíritu Santo nos traiga la paz a toda mi familia. Diálogo con Cristo Jesús, gracias por darme la oportunidad de ser tu apóstol. Ayúdame a no tener miedo de transmitirte. Gracias también por el don de tu Espíritu Santo.
