Our company received a permit to reconstruct an architectural landmark of federal significance on investment terms. in cooperation with the Committee for the Protection of Landmarks and State Supervisory Authority for Construction and Archutecture, in conditions of vague legislative norms, we worked to guarantee compliance with all rules and requirements and were able to quickly reconstruct the facility and turn it into a modern shopping and business center.

Tenants: Deti Children’s Retail Chain, Technoshock Home Electronics Chain, Troika Stores, Ulybka Radugi Retail Chain, Pharmacor Pharmacy Chain, Mega-Electronics, Fastener Hardware Center.

Work Scope: We have completed an extensive amount of work:– Prepared and coordinated a renovation project that met the requirements of regulatory authorities • Fully reconstructed the original façade • Preserved and restored the limestone floor of the first floor gallery, reopening the previously-hidden parts of the gallery, made all shopping windows uniform in accordance with the original design • Restored the original archways along the façade on the second floor, as well as the original type and color of roofing with gable windows• Restructured the interior of the original building: the building was originally constructed according to the rules of the 18th century, with small shops separated from each other by brick walls. All these walls were torn down to set up spacious modern shopping facilities.

When the management of SOLO MC decided to build a modern business center at the site where two dilapidated buildings had once stood, the terms of the new project stipulated preservation of the historic facade. At that time, the facade of No. 13 was the only element of the pair of buildings at Ligovsky 13–15 that could be restored. We have not only fully recreated the original facade, but also successfully integrated it with the new building block. The project was carried out in an extremely densely-built area.

In 2011, the project was nominated for the CRE AWARDS – St. Petersburg Prize.Commissioned on February 24, 2011

We have managed to harmoniously fit a new building into the historic ensembleof the Eleventh Line of Vasilyevsky island.The project, which complies with cutting-edge standards and requirements, has been developed and implemented in just 20 months.

For this project, we developed a plan to integrate three separate plots of land that had belonged to different owners. Additionally, the area needed to be cleared because an old plant had once stood on the land.
