Literacy Month February is literacy month and any

parents, grandparents, special family members are welcome to

sign up to be a mystery reader for our Pre K. This year, in keeping

with covid protocol, our mystery reader will read to our class on the

sanctuary stage, (staying more than 10 feet away from the

children.) Please don’t tell your child when you are coming.

Keeping the identity of the mys-tery reader secret is the best part!

Tu B'shvat We celebrated Tu B'shvat, the birth-day of the trees, with lively 'minute to win it' competition games, focus-

ing on foods of the 7 Fruits of Israel, and learned a song to remember them.

A highlight for the kids was that each child made their own edible

tree out of chocolate and pretzels! Check out the photos on the

back page.
