“I quote others only the better to express myself.”
(Michel de Montaigne)
I have used the work of others to help illustrate my thoughts. My intention is not to steal but to share and promote. I have provided references and links back to the original works wherever possible. Please contact me if I have failed to give due credit, and I will rectify immediately.

Some instructional text
Hold stick near centre of its length. Moisten pointed end in mouth. Insert in tooth space, blunt end next to gum. Use gentle in-out motion."It seemed to me," said Wonko the Sane, "that any civilization that had so far lost its head as to need to include a set of detailed instructions for use in a packet of toothpicks, was no longer a civilization in which I could live and stay sane.”

How this works
This presentation has been designed to work without mediation. The temptation is to type out my own ideas about Learning Design and what I consider the role of the Learning Designer. However, I have tried my best to avoid instruction.
These are shared thoughts – not conclusions.
