Safe Operation Procedure for Holiday Testing

•  A man should be stand-by outside the confined space so as to monitor activities

going inside and to take proper actions in case of emergency.

• Safety harness and Helmet should be worn while entering the confined space

where holiday testing is to be carried out.• Proper scaffolding for accessing the vessel where necessary.

• The illumination bulb used should be attached to isolation transformer and the

voltage should not eceed !"# in case isolation transformer is not available

• The holiday testing machine should be properly insulated and no cracks$cuts

should be there on the cables.
