• Most lists are outdated and overdone (DOBA, WorldWide Brands)

• Ask to buy a sample unit(s) to TEST with

• Ask for an opening order discount

• Get on the e-mail list for specials, discounted & close-out, deals.

• If you are buying from Overseas, use a REAL International Freight Forwarder


Sourcing Lists

• Many are very saturated (from a few hundred to thousands) and many of the buyers BUY DEEP meaning a lot of competition.

• DailySourceList.com goes out to 60 or 25 people for $99/$198

• Use a VA (Virtual Assistant) from Philippines to create your own lists

• Smaller regional Trade Shows are the best (like the Philly Gift Show, Seattle Gift Show… many times 300-500 vendors)

• Specialty Trade Shows (Coffee, Automotive, Hardware, Food, Apparel …)

How to Analyze

• Evaluate EVERYTHING as a total picture

• Sales Rank is Fickle just use it as an indicator

• Check category to be sure you are approved

• Look for Oversize, adds some to your costs

• Is Amazon selling?

• Use Keepa to see if Amazon sells out?

• Use CamelCamelCamel to see if Sales Rank varies a lot
