Ag. Water & Env. Tech • On Friday May 11th 30 faculty and Agriculture

students from Allan Hancock College, Cuesta College, and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo participated in industry tours of a Berry Farm, Cooling Facility, Campus, Winery, and Nursery/Manufacturing Shop. Planning is underway for another tour in Fall 2018.

Ag. Water & Env. Tech

• A new internship/Certificate program with Cal Poly Extended Education will take place this fall. The Farmer Experiential Education & Development (F.E.E.D.) program allows students to take pre- and co-requisite classes at either Allan Hancock College or Cuesta College and attend a hands-on internship class at the Cal Poly student experimental farm. The program begins August 27th. Program costs will be subsidized using DSN SWP funds. http://feed.calpoly.edu/
