Title I: School Improvement

Title I of the NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND Act of 2001 provides funds for

improving schools. The purpose of a school wide Title I program is to

ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to

obtain a high-quality education and reach, at a minimum, proficiency on

challenging State academic achievement standards and state academic

assessments.

Native Star is a web-based school improvement system. The ultimate goal in

school improvement is for the people associated with a school to drive its

continuous improvement for the sake of the children they serve. Native Star

Title VII: Indian Education Formula Grant

The Indian Education Formula Grant

(often referred to as Title VII) program

provides funds to support local educational

agencies (LEAs) in their efforts to
