The City Hallandale Beach area enjoys a central location situated between Greater Downtown Miami to the south and Downtown Fort Lauderdale and Beach to the north. The development boom in condominium residences is occurring in Hallandale Beach. The City of Hallandale Beach is known as the home of Gulfstream Park (horse racing and casino) and Mardi Gras Casino, a greyhound racing track, which hosts the World Classic and borders Atlantic Village.
