Campbell Elementary School 2019 Renovations Site Improvements: Include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Vehicular circulation from Elder is improved by adding a deceleration lane and a left turn lane onto the school site
2. Vehicular circulation on the school property is improved by reconfiguring parking for longer queuing space.
3. Site fencing is added along east property line. 4. New LED parking lot lighting will be added near bus turnaround area. 5. A new generator located closer to electrical room. All associated panels and wiring will be replaced. 6. A lift station will be installed to allow proper drainage of sanitary waste in the building directed toward
Elder Street.
Building Improvements - Interior: Include, but are not limited to the following: 1. New walls and doors will be installed around lobby for security and prevent unauthorized entry 2. Millwork will be replaced in Special Education classrooms, Art and others as noted on plans 3. Vanity millwork will be replaced in gang toilet rooms being upgraded. 4. Interior doors are being replaced as noted on plans where impacted by sanitary sewer work. 5. All toilet room tile flooring will be replaced with monolithic epoxy flooring. 6. All classroom and corridor flooring will be removed and replaced with linoleum except in 2003 addition. 7. Acoustical tile ceilings in Corridors will be replaced, due to HVAC system replacement. 8. All walls in classrooms, corridors and other major spaces (Except those painted under 2017 SPLOST) will
be repainted. 9. All room signage will be replaced throughout the school building 10. All toilet partitions in toilet rooms (except those partitions added under 2017 SPLOST) will be replaced. 11. Equipment shelving in storage rooms at Gymnasium and other locations will be added or replaced. 12. The existing sanitary sewer line from all corridors in the building to the manhole along Elder Street will
be replaced. 13. Replace exterior soffit with new LED lighting fixtures per the contract documents.
Mechanical 1. The mechanical system in 1994 Building will be replaced. Existing energy recovery units, IDF room split
systems will remain. 2. Flexible duct and diffusers will be replaced in corridors and classrooms.
Plumbing
1. Sinks and fixtures in all millwork replacement will be replaced. 2. All water closets, urinals and wall sinks in gang toilets will be replaced.
Electrical
1. The existing generator will be replaced; distribution systems will be upgraded.
2. New branch feeds to new mechanical equipment will be installed. 3. All recessed lay-in light fixtures to FCS Standards will be replaced in
corridors and a few specialty rooms as noted on the plans. 4. Light fixtures in the Cafeteria and Gymnasium will be replaced. 5. Some exterior light lighting will be upgraded to FCS Standards
