2015-2016Discipline

I. Mission

The committee serves as the review/appeal body for consideration of cases related to student or student organization misconduct when the Dean of Students or Designee has imposed disciplinary action or has affirmed disciplinary action imposed by a student affairs staff member. Review may be granted for allegations of failure to process the disciplinary action according to University policy or severity of discipline imposed.

II. Membership

This committee is appointed by the President from faculty, staff, and student volunteers who are willing to undergo training in student judicial affairs process. This training will provide guidance into methods to ensure due process and other current student judicial affairs issues and developments. The appointments are for two year terms and any combination of primary and alternate can meet to obtain seven members. Alternates become primary in the second year.
