1- Geographical distribution of Spain

• It constitute the peninsula with Portugal, two archipelagos and two autonomous cities in Africa.

• It has 17 autonomous comunities, 50 provinces and 2 cities.

1.2. Important cities

• Madrid: is the capital of Spain.

• Barcelona: is one of the most extensive cities of Spain.

• Valencia: is an important city for Spain and the UE because of the population.

• Sevilla: is the fourth most important city of spain because of it’s population.

2.Speaking languages in Spain.

• In Spain the are four speaking languages. • Castillan: is speaking in all Spanish territory.• Galician: is speaking in Galicia northwest of

Spain.• Basque: is speaking in Basque country in the

north of Spain.• Catalan: is speaking in Catalunia in the

northeast of Spain.

3.Parties

• San Fermin is a party in Pamplona, It is well known around the world.

• The bulls are tipicall in all parts of Spain.

4.Sports

• Football: is the most popular sport in Spain. Our selection, has won the Eurocup.

• Basketball: is the second most popular selection of the world. Our selection is the world championship and this year has won the eurocup.

5. Gastronomy

• The gastronomy is different depending on the part of Spain you are.

• Tipicall meals:• Paella, morcilla,

pork, lamb and so on.

6. Music

• Is tipicall the flamenco, the jotas, the sevillanas etc.

• But in actual music, we have many important bands and singers:

– Amaral, La Oreja de van gogh, el canto del loco, dover, Carlos Baute, Marta Sanchez, Sabina, Bisbal and so on.
