I rivestimenti in PP applicati sul campo con spruzzatura a fiamma (come il
Polipropilene Plascoat PP10, distribuito da Tecno Supply) sono sostanzialmente
uguali agli strati protettivi applicati sul tubo in produzione. Questo assicura che
quando tali rivestimenti saranno applicati formeranno un legame perfettamente
omogeneo con i rivestimenti applicati in fabbrica, come ad esempio il PP estruso.
Il risultato sarà un rivestimento completamente fuso con lo strato di poliolefina
presente sul corpo del tubo, formando così un rivestimento omogeneo che
proteggerà giunti, curve e raccorderia.

Field-applied Flame Sprayed PP coatings (e.g Plascoat PP10) are virtually the
same as the factory-applied protective layers on the pipe.
This ensures that when these coatings are applied they will form a perfect
homogenous bond with the parent coatings, i.e. the factory-applied PP layers.
The result is a fully melted coating fused with the existing polyolefin on the pipe
