Emotional health problems are caused by changes in brain chemicals. Emotional symptoms include anger, anxiety, excitement, fear, happiness, joy and sadness, and so on. They may be positive or negative for both of physical stress such as an illness, and emotional stress such as the loss of a loved one. They might occur because you have a long-term health problem, such as migraines or cancer. Sometimes they start without a clear reason.

What should we do? To deal with our emotions, here are some suggestions. - We should get enough rest. To have good mental and emotional health, it’s important to get enough sleep. Most people need seven to eight hours of sleep each night. - We should learn to express our feelings in appropriate ways. Keeping feelings of sadness or anger inside takes extra energy. It can also cause problems in our relationships and at work or school. - We should take care of our physical health. Our physical health can affect our emotional health. Take care of our body by exercising regularly, eating healthy meals and getting enough sleep. Don't take drugs or alcohol.

If these feelings last for a long time or begin to disrupt your

life, treatment such as counseling or medicines can help get things back to normal.
