Weekly Letter (12/5 – 12/9)

This Weekly Letter is due 12/5 – 12/9. For you first paragraph I would like for you to tell me the definition of the two different types of non – fiction text structures we have learned about. Then tell me at least 3 signal words for each type. Use your Informational Text Structure chart to help you.

For your second paragraph, I would like for you to tell me the name and author or your current Independent Reading book. Then I would like you to write a persuasive paragraph to convince me to read it over my Winter Break.

Cold WeatherAs the weather continues to

get colder please send your child to school dressed to go outside for morning walk and recesses. We will go outside as long as the “feels like” temperature is 20°F or above. Students need to wear/bring coats, gloves, hats, etc. so they are warm enough on cold days.
