Background Put together from various sources, these materials were once part of the Topolobampo collection but were separated out when the collection was re-organized in 2002. This collection supports what is in the Topolobampo collection, both the original manuscript collection as well as the cataloged book collection based on the broader topic of utopianism/socialism. Scope and Content Note

The Topolobampo Reference collection measures 1.4 linear feet and dates from 1862 to 1999. The collection is arranged in four series: Topolobampo, Pamphlets and periodicals, Secondary sources and Utopian societies and cooperatives. The materials in the Topolobampo series are secondary sources. The materials in the Pamphlets and periodicals and Utopian societies and cooperatives series are primary sources.
