HBL SeaLing
hbl (hydraulically bound layers) are sealed for vari-ous reasons. the goal is, among others, to attain a tight seal of the surface so that the hydraulic setting of the hbl is successful and no water can penetrate into the structure later on.

for example eStol-c60b1-n (eStol-u60 K).unstable cationic bitumen emulsion with a bonding agent content of about 60 %.
eStol-c60b1-n complies with the requirements for bitumen emulsions for the after-treatment of hydrau-lically bound layers (hbl).

imPregnation
impregnating tar macadam coating is a long-standing, reliable method for reinforcing streets that can be realised without great fi-nancial expense.
first the unbound base layer must be re-pro-filed and completed. It is then "impregnated" with premium chippings and bitumen emulsion and then compacted.
the result is a sealed, impregnated coating for light to medium traffic.
this construction method is particularly ideal for forestry, country and service roads, as well as driveways, parking lots and courtyard for-tifications.

Processing note - producing a triple im-pregnating tar macadam
evenly apply eStol-c69bp4-ob onto the pre-pared road surface using a St-paving train as follows:
- in the 1. step with approx. 2.0 kg/m²- in the 2. step with approx. 1.8 kg/m² and- in the 3. step with approx. 1.6 kg/m² applied on to the base layer
chipping:- in the 1. step with approx. 13 kg/m² pre- mium chippings 8/11 mm- in the 2. step with approx. 13 kg/m² pre- mium chippings 5/8 mm and- in the 3. step with approx. 13 kg/m² pre- mium chippings 2/5 mm
roll the chippings with a separate roller.

Processing information
only perform work during dry weather with air and surface temperatures above + 5 °c. when after-treating hydraulically bound layers, the sprayed areas is generally sprinkled with about 8 kg/m² premium chippings to guarantee fur-ther driving capacity during the construction phase. Spraying temperature: cold to 50 °c, starting at 30 °c when using spray bars.
