1/4 cup milk1 tsp ginger1/2 tsp nutmeg1/4 tsp vanilla3/4 tsp baking soda1/2 cup stick margarine,

melted1/4 tsp lemon juice1/2 cup molasses2 cups flour1/2 cup brown sugar1/2 tsp cinnamon

Sift together flour, bak-ing soda, and spices; set aside.

In another bowl com-bine melted margarine and brown sugar together until well combined. Add milk, molasses, vanilla and lem-on juice. Add flour mixture. Mix well.

Let chill in fridge for about an hour.

Preheat oven to 350°F.Take cookie dough out

of fridge, roll and shape into various shapes and deco-rate with sprinkles or choc-olate chips for eyes, mouth, and buttons if desired.

Tranfer cookie shapes to ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 9-10 minutes.

Eat right hot of the oven or transfer to wire racks to cool.

Quick and Easy Sugar Cookie Recipe

1 large egg2 tsps baking powder1 cup butter1 tsp vanilla extract2 3/4 cups flour1 cup sugar

Cream sugar and butter.Add egg, vanilla.Mix all dry ingredi-

ents and add slowly to but-ter cream mixture until incorporated.

Roll out on lightly floured board to desired thickness.

Cutout 2-1/2 hearts and bake at 400° for 8- 10 minutes.

Should be light in color with light browning on the edges.

Chocolate Meringue Drops - Cookie Recipe

dash salt 1/2 teaspoon vinegar 3/4 cup chopped walnuts2 egg whites 1/2 teaspoon vanilla1 cup chocolate chips,

melted and cooled 1/2 cup sugar

Beat salt and egg whites until foamy.

Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.

Add vinegar and vanilla.

Fold in chocolate and walnuts.

Drop by spoonfuls on parchment paper and bake at 350° 11-12 minutes.
