WHO’S WHO

Abby Zeszotek (Company) is thrilled to be back on the Imagine stage

for her third full show with the company. Recent credits include Mrs.

Potts in Beauty and the Beast, Mrs. Clancy in Fancy Nancy, and an

Ensemble member in Jesus Christ Superstar. Abby also recently con-

ducted her first musical, Thoroughly Modern Millie which also hap-

pened to be with Imagine Productions. Abby currently teaches Acad-

emy classes and Private lessons through Columbus Children's Theatre.

Elisabeth Zimmerman (Johanna) has had butterflies in her stomach

since receiving the casting call for Sweeney Todd. She studies vocal

performance at Capital University and is headed straight for the Big

Apple post-grad to find Heidi Blickenstaff where they will sing togeth-

er for the rest of their days. Favorite past roles include Heidi (title of

show), Roxie (Chicago), Amber (Hairspray), Olive (25th Annu-

al...Spelling Bee), Little Becky (Urinetown) and Mabel (Pirates of Pen-

zance). Elisabeth blows kisses to Gretchen Wessel and Erin Burchwell

for their dramatic coaching and theatrical inspiration.

WHO’S WHO

Kent Stuckey (Judge Turpin) is judiciously thrilled to be part of this

Sweeney Todd cast after playing the role of Anthony in the Players

Theater production three decades past. Other favorite roles include

Nick Arnstein in Funny Girl, Miles Gloriosus in A Funny Thing…, Ed-

ward Rutledge in 1776, Charlie in Brigadoon, Henry Higgins in My Fair

Lady and the Tin Man in Wizard of Oz. He has been a regular soloist

with Vaud-Villities Productions, served as its Board Chairman for

many years, and developed the non-profit Northland Performing Arts Center (NPAC) -

a community performance venue and event center. Kent sincerely thanks Imagine Pro-

ductions and his fellow cast members for the opportunity to work with them and to

share the joy!

Denae Sullivan (Company) is enjoying her first production with Im-

agine Productions. Recently she performed with Emerald City Players

as Meredith Parker in Bat Boy, with LTOB as Jeannie in The Great

American Trailer Park Musical and the Witch in Into The Woods, and

with Gallery Players in Les Miserables and as Rhoda in A New Brain.

Denae would like to thank her biggest fan and hugely supportive

husband Kevin and her family and friends for their loving support. 

Michelle Weiser (Beggar Woman/Mrs. Lovett Understudy) is de-

lighted to work with Imagine again! Michelle's first appearance at

Wall Street was in Young Frankenstein (Inga). Michelle has also per-

formed in Imagine's annual cabarets: Over the Top and Over the Big

Top. Recent regional credits include the world premiere of Captain

Blood (Mary Traill), HAIR (Jeanie), Bye Bye Birdie (Mayor's Wife), The

Merry Wives of Windsor (Mistress Page) and The Beaux' Stratagem. Michelle also acts

for film and was featured in WOSU's nationally-aired documentary Admiral Byrd:

Forged on Ice. Michelle writes for the theatre and directed her first full-length play, She

Hath Been Reading, at the Jubilee Theatre. Michelle also performs sketch comedy with

the local comedy group Actual Wolves. Michelle is an alumna of the Apprentice Com-

pany at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey and holds a B.F.A. in Acting summa

cum laude from Wright State University.

Ashley Woodard (Music Director) is thrilled to be working with Im-

agine Productions for the third time. Previously, she was the Music

Director for Urinetown: The Musical in 2013 and appeared on stage

last year in Little Shop of Horrors. She is usually seen on stage around

Columbus, but she is incredibly grateful to be Music Directing again

for one of her favorite shows. Ashley would like to thank Ryan for his

trust and support, Brandon for his care and encouragement, Tyler for all of his help,

the awesome cast and orchestra for their hard work and dedication, her friends and

family for their never-ending patience, and Mr. Sondheim for the beautiful music and

the challenge.

She is part of Columbus Children's Theatre professional touring company and is so ex-

cited to be involved in this production and this community.

Keith Robinson (Sweeney Todd) is humbled to play this amazing

role with such an incredibly talented cast! He has recently been seen

as the title characters in Pleasure Guild's Shrek the Musical and Pick-

erington Community Theatre's Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Facto-

ry, as well as Franklin Hart in Imagine’s 2013 production of 9 to 5.

Keith is the Corporate Safety Director for Civil & Environmental Con-

sultants. He is grateful to his beautiful wife and fantastic sons for allowing him to dis-

rupt their home life to perform this dream role and to the entire staff, cast and crew

for their trust and support.

Johnny Robison (Tobias Ragg) is so excited to be working on one of

his favorite shows with some of his favorite people! He was last seen

on the Imagine stage in The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Brad), last

fall. Other credits include HAIR (Imagine Productions), The Mystery of

Edwin Drood (OTL), The Drowsy Chaperone (OTL), and Bare

(Evolution). All of the thanks go to the support of this hardworking

cast, imaginative production crew, Wall Street Nightclub, the sweetest fox, and his

Grandma R for teaching him to sing. This one's for you!!

Frank Ruiz (Company/Tobias Understudy) is incredibly excited to be

working with Imagine for the first time! He has most recently per-

formed in Dublin Coffman High School's All Shook Up (Dean Hyde)

and Picasso at the Lapin Agile (Elvis). Frank is currently a senior in

High School, hoping to attend a B.F.A. program for Musical Theatre.

He would like to thank his family, friends, as well as this talented cast

for their support and encouragement throughout the process of creating this amazing

show.

Ryan Scarlata (Director) Sweeney Todd marks Ryan's third directori-

al project with Imagine Productions (previous: 9 to 5 The Musical and

Little Shop of Horrors). Other directorial highlights include The Pro-

ducers, RENT, Dracula, Steel Magnolias, Seussical Jr., Into the Woods

Jr., and regional premieres of A New Brain, Fancy Nancy the Musical

and A Piece of My Heart. He is also an Associate Director for the Off

Broadway and National Tour production of Berenstain Bears Live: The Musical. Ryan is

the Associate Artistic Director at the Columbus Children's Theatre. He would like to

thank his collaborators: Allison, Karla, Ashley, Jackie, Ellie and Dana; and his family and

Chris for their love, patience, and support.

Jordan Shear (Company/Pirelli Understudy) is thrilled to be return-

ing to Imagine Productions for Sweeney Todd. He was seen last year

in their production of Hair as Woof and served as violinist for Spring

Awakening. He would like to thank the cast and crew for making this

collaboration a labor of love and especially his mom for continuing to

be absolutely fabulous.

Karla Andrews (Stage Manager) is thrilled to officially join the Imag-

ine family after years of attending shows. During the day Karla is an

Infant and Toddler teacher at The Ohio State University. She has been

involved on and off stage at Columbus Children's Theatre, Curtain

Players, Columbus Civic Theatre, and most recently she Assistant Di-

rected Les Mis at Gallery Players.

Brandon Boring (Company) is ecstatic to be returning to the Imagine

stage in this fantastic show. He was last seen on stage with Imagine

as Nicky in Avenue Q. He also directed the company's production of

Urinetown. He would like to thank his friends and family for their

support, and Ashley for working harder than he ever could.

Jackie Farbeann (Costumer), winner of the Broadway World Colum-

bus 2014 award for costuming for her work on La Cage Aux Folles,

Jackie is pleased to be costuming another show for Imagine. She has

been costuming for community and high school theater groups for

the past 10 years, but her real passion is conservation. She repairs

and restores garments for the OSU Historic Costume and Textile Col-

lection. Bibo, I miss you.

Bill Hafner (Mr. Fogg, Company) has been very active in the central

Ohio theatre community for the past 2 years. During that time has

played Professor Harold Hill in the Music Man, Jean Valjean in Les

Miserables, and other fun supporting roles. This is his first show with

Imagine Productions. "Thank you Zoe for being my leading lady for

the last 28 years - I love You!" Psalm 28:7

Melissa Hall (Company) was born and raised in Columbus Ohio and

is enjoying every moment of her first show with Imagine. She gradu-

ated in 2013 with a BFA in Musical Theater from Wright State Univer-

sity and is thrilled to be sharing the stage with a few of her fellow

(and favorite) alums. Previous credits include: Fugitive Songs, Funny

Girl, Into the Woods, and Hairspray. Much love to the cast and crew!

Brian Horne (Adolfo Pirelli) is thrilled to make his onstage Imagine

debut! He has previously not been seen as the pianist for Urinetown

and the music director/pianist for Young Frankenstein. Other favorite

roles include Nicely-Nicely Johnson (Guys and Dolls), Emcee

(Cabaret), Enjolras (Les Miserables), and Murdoch (Titanic). Outside

of theater, Brian is preparing to direct a feature film this fall/winter.

Many thanks to Ryan, Ashley, and crew for this opportunity, to the

cast for making this an awesome experience, and to Mom, Dad, Brittany, and Michelle

for their continued support!

Devin Judge (Company) is currently a student at OSU working to-

ward a bachelor's degree in engineering. He is 23 years old working

at the Aveda Institute and is a part of an a Capella group on campus.

This last June was his first performance in community theatre, Into

the Woods, and has loved working with the cast and crew of Sweeney

Todd.

Candice Kight (Lucy/Company) feels incredibly lucky to be working

with this vibrant, inspiring group of people. You may have seen Can-

dice in HAIR (Sheila). Recent credits include South Pacific with the

Akron Symphony (Nurse), The Pirates of Penzance with Baldwin Wal-

lace Opera (Mabel), and The Wedding Singer with CCT (Julia), for

which she received a Central Ohio Theatre Roundtable Award. One

thousand thanks and lots of love to Johnny, my wonderful family, and the unbeatable

creative team.

Justin King (Anthony Hope) is ecstatic to be making his Columbus

theatre debut with Imagine Productions! He holds a BFA in Acting

from Wright State University. Most recently, Justin worked with Cin-

cinnati Shakespeare Company on the main stage as well as perform-

ing across the tristate area with the educational touring company. An

incredible opportunity, he performed in Romeo & Juliet (Nurse,

Tybalt), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Oberon, Snug, Theseus), Twelfth Night (Fabian),

and many other shows. Other credits include: Pump Up the Volume (The Human Race),

The Secret Garden (Weathervane Playhouse), Spring Awakening, and Into the Woods.

When he’s not on stage Justin can be found managing at an Aveda salon or earning

points for Slytherin House.

Karla Kruse (Company) is thrilled that her first production with Im-

agine is a show she's wanted to do for a very long time. Recently she

was Gertrude McFuzz in Westerville Civic's Seussical. Over the past

year she's also been in Gallery Player's Les Miserable, SRO's Bye Bye

Birdie and Westerville Civic's Music Man. During the day, she works in

Purchasing at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Karla would like to

thank her family and friends for encouraging her to rekindle her passion for being on

the stage.

Ryan Kopycinski (Beadle Bamford) is thankful and excited to take

part in his first production with Imagine. Ryan is a proud Ohio State

alumnus, and was recently seen in Gallery Players' Les Miserables,

SRO Theatre's Bye Bye Birdie, and Pleasure Guild's Shrek the Musical.

He would like to thank his Lord and Creator for the gifts and grace he

doesn't deserve, and his friends and family for their love, prayers,

and unwavering support.

Jesika Lehner (Nellie Lovett) is thrilled to be joining Imagine for a

full length show! She was seen in a few of our cabarets over the past

year or so, but this is her first full show with us. Jesika has been seen

in a few other Columbus shows since returning to the stage in 2013.

Perhaps you saw her in Sunday in the Park with George at SNS or her

most recent show, Yank! with Evolution Theatre Company. This is one

role in a long line of dream roles she is hoping to perform. Thanks to

her family (her wonderful husband Chris and gorgeous daughter, Josephine). Most of

all.....thank you Tim Valentine. You're always watching out for me and I miss you every

day!

Ellie Levine (Assistant Director/Assistant Stage Manager/Props) is

currently a high school senior at Columbus Academy and is ecstatic

to be assistant directing her first show with Imagine. Recently, she

has appeared onstage at Columbus Children’s Theatre and Curtain

Players. Behind the scenes, she has worked as a stage manager, spot-

light operator, and lighting board operator. This summer, Ellie partici-

pated in Northwestern’s Cherubs Theatre Program. When she is not rehearsing or

studying, Ellie enjoys photography, playing tennis and practicing circus arts. She would

like to thank the incredible cast and production team for all of their hard work. Enjoy

the show!

William Macke (Company/Anthony Understudy) graduated the

Hartt School with a B.F.A in Musical Theater 2013. Regional work in-

cludes: CATCO- Forever Plaid (Jinx), The Jungle Book (Baloo) EVOLU-

TION THEATRE COMPANY- Yank! (Mitch Adams) HARTFORD STAGE-

The Crucible (Hopkins/Ensemble), A Christmas Carol (Noose Ghost/

Party Guest), Twelfth Night (Curio/Pianist) GOODSPEED OPERA

HOUSE- Princesses (Marty, Reading). Other work includes WEATHERVANE PLAYHOUSE-

Jesus Christ Superstar (Bartholomew), MONOMOY THEATER-1776 (Richard Henry Lee),

Wait Until Dark (Carlino), Henry IV (Vernon/Pistol). THE HARTT SCHOOL- The Drowsy

Chaperone (Man in Chair), Miss Saigon (Ensemble), Sunday in the Park with George

(Louis/Greenberg), Tartuffe (Officer), Time after Time (Angi/Ensemble).

Derryck Menard (Company), a graduate of The Ohio State Universi-

ty, has worked locally on and offstage for the last 10 years. Onstage

credits include Emerald City Players’ Edges: A Song Cycle, Columbus

Children’s Theatre’s The Ruby Bridges Story, Gallery Players’ Les Mi-

sérables, and Evolution Theatre’s Yank: The Musical. Favorite roles

include Hero (Funny Thing... Forum) and Cain (Children of Eden). He

is currently working as CCT's resident lighting designer, recently de-

signing for two regional premiers. Thanks to Ryan for this opportuni-

ty.

Mary Paige Rieffel (Company) comes to us fresh from Flint, Michi-

gan where she earned her BFA in theatre performance from The Uni-

versity of Michigan-Flint (sorry Buckeyes).
