Sustainable Communities

The social housing sector is embracing a wave of change in the provision of decent and affordable housing as a corner stone of the creation of sustainable communities.

System10 Aluminium solar shading provides a simple, low maintenance way to reduce energy bills and carbon dioxide emissions. When used in conjunction with System10 Aluminium curtain walling installations, solar shading provides a relatively quick-fix, inexpensive solution to offices and classrooms that suffer from excessive solar heating.

Curtain Walling System

The System10 Aluminium curtain walling system is primarily used in the refurbishment or new building of schools, hospitals, office blocks, and other commercial constructions.

Using PVC-U in curtain walling projects has been made possible by the introduction of a thermally broken, aluminium sub-structure consisting of substantial horizontal and vertical cross members, constructed to form a grid system.

System 10 Aluminium window, door and curtain walling systems are available in a full range of powder coated and anodised finishes.

System10 Aluminium is also available in a range of woodgrain finishes to the internal face, enabling a warmer, more traditional appearance to be achieved in offices, schools, and commercial buildings without compromise to the outstanding thermal performance that only System10 Aluminium can offer.
