• Images taken with the RICOH WG-M1 that are for anything other than personal enjoyment cannot be used without permission according to the rights as specified in the Copyright Act. Although the level of functioning pixels is 99.99% or better, you should be aware that 0.01% or fewer of the pixels may not illuminate or may illuminate when they should not. The RICOH WG-M1’s waterproof, dustproof and shockproof performance:• The WG-M1 provides waterproof performance equivalent to JIS Class 8, and dustproof performance equivalent to JIS Class 6 (IP68). It can be used under the water to a depth of 10 meters and for up to 60 minutes of continuous operation. • The WG-M1’s shockproof performance was measured using RICOH IMAGING in-house testing standards (against a fall from a height of two meters, onto a surface of 5cm-thick plywood), conforming to Method 516.5-Shock of the MIL-Standard 810F. • The WG-M1’s waterproof and shockproof performance was measured using RICOH IMAGING in-house testing standards. They don’t, however, guarantee that the camera will remain damage- and trouble-free under all conditions. • The WG-M1’s waterproof performance is not guaranteed when the camera is subjected to excessive shock caused by falls or impacts. • In order to maintain sufficient waterproof and dustproof performance, keep the lens protector in place at all times. Especially during underwater shooting, waterproof performance cannot be guaranteed unless the O-LP1532 Underwater Lens Protector is installed at all times.

Safety instructions:• Be sure to be fully aware of your surroundings, and take all safety precautions needed when you operate the WG-M1 while walking, driving, riding a motorcycle or bicycle, or underwater. • Despite the WG-M1’s waterproof, dustproof, shockproof and freeze-proof performance, RICOH IMAGING does not recommend excessively violent use of the camera in damage-prone locations. • In order to retain the WG-M1’s waterproof performance, we advice replacing its waterproof packing once a year. Consult your local customer support center for the waterproof packing replacement service (a service fee will be charged).

Notes: •The still-image and movie recording capacities described above are approximate, and may differ from actual figures depending on the capacity of the memory card and/or type of subject. •The maximum length of a single, continuously recorded movie clip is 25 minutes. •The still-image recording capacity indicates an approximate number of images recorded during CIPA-compliant testing standards (with the LCD monitor on, the flash used for 50% of images, and at a temperature of 23°C).
