Olivier RIZZO aka Speedy Graphito is born in 1961. He is known as one of the first French artists who used in the years 80’ the stencil and spray painting as mediums in the street.

Speedy Graphito makes Art and is considered as a Product of Art. Prolific than resourceful, the artist uses all forms of Art expression as well as painting, sculpture, installation, photography or movie, to create among this work and along many years a universal language.

Having to constantly evolve and reinvent his work, often with bright colors, he playfully and ironically shakes our perceptions of societal systems. In this approach, he does not hesitate to appropriate all the imagery of popular culture thus achieving a quasi-systematic decryption of our collective unconscious. He comes in as many question the norms and principles of our Western cultural identity, superimposing on the reality of our society a more poetic dimension.

In 2000, when Internet was not as

widespread as today and the reputation of

the artist not as fine, Speedy Graphito

decided to create his own Gallery on

internet, PANORAMART. Managed by Eva

Muse, a virtual galerist, the online gallery

has represented some virtual artists who

had for each their own style all totally

different, among them there were Greg

Harding the Belgian dandy, Ornella Rosa, a

sexy and sulfurous girl with red hairs, Trash

Anderson, a punk rebel from Bordeaux,

Oyo Caramel, a young Asian girl dying

bedridden in Hospital and some others

artists…

15 years after, the artists are coming back for a new Show: PANORAMART EXPERIENCE orchestrated by Speedy Graphito in which he presents some paper works with different styles he used when he was unknown. For this exhibition, the artists worked together under the spray and stencils of their master now recognized.

With a view of celebrating this event and promoting the movie in which Speedy relates this secret story « Ainsi soit Lapinture », a collector box is offered on sale. All details on this edition are described further below.

Main Exhibitions and Street Interventions of the Artist :

Speedy Graphito is a popular artist. By directing the creation of the poster for "Rush Art" in 1985 by the Ministry of Culture, he immediately received wide recognition and public awareness.

Following “Rush Art” came the animation for the Defense concert by JM Jarre, the external graphic identity of the Halle Saint Pierre, the creation of the logo for the Altair space mission (which is still somewhere in intergalactic space), the painting of the barge Europodyssée which joined Paris to Moscow via canals, sail a catamaran for crossing the Atlantic solo, and the walls of Paris along the route of the Bievre...Les expositions les plus récentes : 2015 I STREET ART FESTIVAL EVRY CENTRE ESSONNE Les arènes de l'Agora d'Evry - France.
