They’re an appetizer, conversation starter and satisfier of late night munchies. Whether you’re at Happy Hour or throwing a backyard BBQ, a party isn’t truly a party without them. These Spiced Party Nuts are savory and crunchy with just the right amount of heat. Ingredients: 1 C. raw whole almonds 1 C. raw peanuts 1 C. raw cashews 1 C. raw walnuts 1 Tbsp. unsalted butter or olive oil 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. onion powder 1 tsp. chili powder ½ tsp. cayenne pepper 1 tsp. sesame seeds 1 tsp. salt Preheat oven to 350. Place all raw nuts into large mixing bowl. In a smaller bowl, combine all wet ingredients with spices and mix well. Dress nuts with wet ingredients until fully coated. Place on baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven, transfer to cooling rack lined with paper towels and let cool. Stores well for up to two weeks. FOOD THAT LOVES YOU, TOO: Raw nuts are a great way to cut unnecessary sodium out of your diet. Yes, nuts contain fat, but almost 90% of that fat is unsaturated, the good kind of fat. Do your body a favor by reaching for raw nuts.
