A depiction of the time/space Algorithm of the “Death Cycle”

It was the night of August 12, 2017. We were spending the weekend in Laguna Hills, California

to celebrate a “gender reveal” party for our Granddaughter, Chelsea’s first baby, due to be

delivered in mid-December later in the year. During the afternoon, I had spent time praying

for God’s plan for our Great Grandson as he is being formed and shaped, and his life-book yet

being written by God in his mother’s womb. I awakened on and off from the continuation of a

surreal dream (Night Vision) as I slept through the night.

I was behind the scenes in the dream’s entirety as I observed how things worked in life.

Two people would be walking together, but one of them would have a mishap and be

taken out of life. The other would somehow escape as if “fate” was orchestrating

events.

Two people would have a tire blowout. One would die in a crash (or be crippled for life),

but the other would successfully steer their car to the side of the road.

Two people would start a business. One would succeed, the other would fail, although

the businesses would be similar.

Two people would be born into the same family. One would be highly intelligent, but

the other would be of less than normal intelligence. Yet, once they went out into life,

the one with the lesser intelligence would wind up with greater success.

A guide, that I instinctively assumed was an angel, was with me throughout my journey in this

very fantastic dream. I was looking through an almost transparent veil, not like a curtain but a

partition separating me from what I was viewing. Instinctively, I knew as the night’s strange

events continued of waking up and returning to more of the dream, that there was something

uniquely spiritual about what I was witnessing. Somehow, invisible powers-that-be were

involved with what was taking place; a mystery that I was being given insight into regarding its

origin and working.

I watched story after story unfold and come to completion, each as wide-ranging as might be

logistically possible, as different and varied as one could possibly imagine.

My guide behind the scenes of these events instructed me that everything I was seeing was a

“random placement” of life-outcomes. Throughout the dream I realized there was no rhyme or

reason to what was happening. It was a kind of chance that was causing every action to create

a different and diverse outcome. Yet, I knew that there was a kind of “order” behind the

“chance happenings” that were occurring, making them not “mere chance” at all.

All through the night, I looked through the thin veil that separated me from all these areas of

life that were manifesting to me.

What was it? What was the cause of the diversity of chance occurrences?

I was aware that my guide was always at my side allowing me to witness the events in my

dream.

Then I heard these words: “There are spiritual algorithms within the death cycle that account

for every chance happening in the world. The only way to escape these algorithms is to be

delivered out of the “power of the darkness of the death cycle.” There really is no such thing as

“mere chance.” There is a masterplan of death that intertwines everything that happens in the

earth, and the only way of escape is to walk “in the spirit,” and be led by the Holy Spirit.

The “guide” spoke to me, “I will give you understanding of this earth-life if you will allow what

you see to leave its impression upon you. That impression will solve the riddle of this dream.

Suddenly I was given understanding and insight into “life and death,” “blessing and cursing,”

and into “success and failure.” Earth-life was under the dominion of a “death cycle.” Christ

came to set us free from it; to deliver us out from under its power and sway.

What is physical death except the culmination of a “death cycle.” When God said to Adam, “In

the day you eat thereof, you will surely die,” it did not mean that Adam would fall down dead

the day he ate of the forbidden fruit. It meant that life would cease as it did before, and Adam

would enter a special cycle of Earth-life controlled by something termed “death.” The death

cycle would consist of a plethora of “pre-designed random events” that would find its common

denominator in all of mankind in a kind of algorithmic net of circumstances that “fell upon

humanity” when Adam sinned. Since then, mankind has, in the randomness of their own lives,

suffered the “slings and arrows” of the Law of Sin and Death with no hope of escape outside of

Jesus Christ.

Created by God, Death is not a Void, but a God-Designed Indiscriminate interaction with Good & Evil

Upon the random actions of lost humanity

Death would not mean to cease to exist, but the creation of a vacuum in which one is

controlled by “randomness.” Humanity would be thrust into a world of “chance happenings,”

not of “mere chance,” but rather a divine origin creating “design of chance,” controlled by an

algorithm embedded by God into the “death cycle” which He created to deal with Adamic sin.

Isaiah 45:6-9 NLT “I am the LORD, and there is no other. (7) I create the light and make the darkness. I send good times and bad times. I, the LORD, am the One who does these things. (8) "Open up, O heavens, and pour out your righteousness. Let the earth open wide so salvation and righteousness can sprout up together. I, the LORD, created them. (9) "What sorrow awaits those who argue with their Creator. Does a clay pot argue with its maker? Does the clay dispute with the one who shapes it, saying, 'Stop, you're doing

Page 4: Spiritual Algorithms of the Death Cycledonpickneyministries.org/images/Spiritual_algorithms_of... · 2017. 9. 12. · I watched story after story unfold and come to completion, each

4

it wrong!' Does the pot exclaim, 'How clumsy can you be?'

Mankind has been “battling” this algorithm ever since without the possibility of conquering it.

This would serve as the ultimate punishment of Adamic mankind until the end of his days here

on Earth.

What looks like chance happenings in life is really a clever design being lived out and controlled

by the “death cycle” brought upon man by Adam, and that came upon all humankind from that

point on.

The only deliverance out of this algorithmic design of randomness is to be led directly by God’s

Spirit, the Holy Spirit, and the release of a new authority through faith in God’s Word.

One enters the realm of being led by the Spirit once they accept Christ, and begin a life of faith

on God’s written Word. Acting on God’s Word creates a new kind of vacuum setting them

apart, and freeing from the “death cycle” algorithm. Their faith overcomes the algorithmic

designs behind the scene of circumstance. Faith brings things of “purpose,” and things

structured by God for man that is not found in the “death cyclic” nature of life.

The “guide” said to me, “Think of life outside of Christ as a design of crisscrossing, mix-mashed,

interwoven threads of random occurrences purposely embedded into life in God’s wrath upon

the Adamic race. Now think of Christ’s gift of ‘life’ as a carefully planned set of events designed

to create a divine purpose and outcome as one is led by the Holy Spirit, acting in obedience to

God’s will.” He went on, “Often, Christian believers will ‘quench’ the Holy Spirit (like happened

to Apostle Paul when he purposed to go to Jerusalem against the direction of the Spirit), and it

will make them susceptible to the ‘death cycle’ algorithms. Others may “grieve” the Holy Spirit

and find him not moving in their situations.

Stepping out of God’s Will Places the Believer in a World of God-Designed Randomness found in the Death Cycle

Suddenly, what has been carefully designed for them by God in Christ disappears, and they find

themselves battling random happenings, even as the world experiences. The secret place of

the Most High is a description of being set apart from the “death cycle” mix-mash of life

circumstances, a place where everything works as planned and all outcomes are right on target

and always made perfect. They fit a design of purpose, instead of a design of randomness.

The “all things work together for good” place of Romans 8 is a description of that same place of

divine purpose and outcome. But one only finds that place as they find and follow God’s divine

will.

When God created death as a penalty of Adam’s sin, he did not create it a void or empty

vacuum in which mankind slowly begins disappearing. He created it with algorithms embedded

into it that would serve to control through a design of random happenings those imprisoned by

it.

200 people buy an airline ticket. At the last minute one gets caught in a traffic jam and misses

the plane. The others board the aircraft which crashes on takeoff and all aboard are killed.

Others thought of taking that flight but chose a different one. Of course, everyone who even

contemplated taking that flight contemplates, “Why me?” Why was I spared? Later one of

those who took another flight is killed in an automobile accident, and the one who was caught

in the traffic contracts terminal cancer. One by one, each of those spared find their “destiny”

to be simply another statistic of another way to die or be crippled, or face a devastating

situation. They weren’t spared for a purpose, rather because the “death cycle” algorithm

caught them in a different mix-mash of placement.

This is the message of Solomon’s mysterious book of strange wisdom, The Book of Ecclesiastes.

Here are some of Solomon’s descriptions of the “death cycle algorithms” of Earth-life:

Ecclesiastes 1:2-15 MSG “Smoke, nothing but smoke. [That's what the Quester says.] There's nothing to anything--it's all smoke. (3) What's there to show for a lifetime of work, a lifetime of working your fingers to the bone? (4) One generation goes its way, the next one arrives, but nothing changes--it's business as usual for old planet earth. (5) The sun comes up and the sun goes down, then does it again, and again--the same old round. (6) The wind blows south, the wind blows north. Around and around and around it blows, blowing this way, then that--the whirling, erratic wind. (7) All the rivers flow into the sea, but the sea never fills up. The rivers keep flowing to the same old place, and then start all over and do it again. (8) Everything's boring, utterly boring-- no one can find any meaning in it. Boring to the eye, boring to the ear. (9) What was will be again, what happened will happen again. There's nothing new on this earth. Year after year it's the same old thing. (10) Does someone call out, "Hey, this is new"? Don't get excited--it's the same old story. (11) Nobody remembers what happened yesterday. And the things that will happen tomorrow? Nobody'll remember them either.

Page 6: Spiritual Algorithms of the Death Cycledonpickneyministries.org/images/Spiritual_algorithms_of... · 2017. 9. 12. · I watched story after story unfold and come to completion, each

6

Don't count on being remembered. (12) Call me "the Quester." I've been king over Israel in Jerusalem. (13) I looked most carefully into everything, searched out all that is done on this earth. And let me tell you, there's not much to write home about. God hasn't made it easy for us. (14) I've seen it all and it's nothing but smoke--smoke, and spitting into the wind. (15) Life's a corkscrew that can't be straightened, A minus that won't add up.”

Here is another example of his musings:

Ecclesiastes 6:8-12 MSG “So what advantage has a sage over a fool, or over some poor wretch who barely gets by? (9) Just grab whatever you can while you can; don't assume something better might turn up by and by. All it amounts to anyway is smoke. And spitting into the wind. (10) Whatever happens, happens. Its destiny is fixed. You can't argue with fate. (11) The more words that are spoken, the more smoke there is in the air. And who is any better off? (12) And who knows what's best for us as we live out our meager smoke-and-shadow lives? And who can tell any of us the next chapter of our lives?”

Take one more look at Solomon’s findings:

Ecclesiastes 7:23-29 MSG “I tested everything in my search for wisdom. I set out to be wise, but it was beyond me, (24) far beyond me, and deep--oh so deep! Does anyone ever find it? (25) I concentrated with all my might, studying and exploring and seeking wisdom--the meaning of life. I also wanted to identify evil and stupidity, foolishness and craziness. (27) At least this is my experience--what I, the Quester, have pieced together as I've tried to make sense of life. (28) But the wisdom I've looked for I haven't found. I didn't find one man or woman in a thousand worth my while. (29) Yet I did spot one ray of light in this murk: God made men and women true and upright; we're the ones who've made a mess of things.”

Solomon could simply not make sense of life (what was really Earth-life made up of “death cycle algorithms”):

Ecclesiastes 8:9-10 MSG “All this I observed as I tried my best to understand all that's going on in this world. As long as men and women have the power to hurt each other, this is the way it is. (10) One time I saw wicked men given a solemn burial in holy ground. When the people returned to the city, they delivered flowery eulogies--and in the very place where wicked acts were done by those very men! More smoke. Indeed.”

And so I realized as I meditated on all that occurred in my dream: It was a revelation of the true understanding of Solomon’s Book of Ecclesiastes. A revelation of the craziness of the “chance” happenings in the Earth-life “death cycle algorithms.”

Page 7: Spiritual Algorithms of the Death Cycledonpickneyministries.org/images/Spiritual_algorithms_of... · 2017. 9. 12. · I watched story after story unfold and come to completion, each

7

The bottom line: chance is not chance but designs embedded within the death cycle. If you want to be free of “chance,” the answer is found in Jesus’ words:

John 8:31, 36 MSG “Then Jesus turned to the Jews who had claimed to believe in him. "If you stick with this, living out what I tell you, you are my disciples for sure. (32) Then you will experience for yourselves the truth, and the truth will free you." (36) So if the Son sets you free, you are free through and through.”

It is what God was attempting to give Israel in the Covenant of Abraham:

Deuteronomy 30:19-20 MSG “I call Heaven and Earth to witness against you today: I place before you Life and Death, Blessing and Curse. Choose life so that you and your children will live. (20) And love GOD, your God, listening obediently to him, firmly embracing him. Oh yes, he is life itself, a long life settled on the soil that GOD, your God, promised to give your ancestors, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”

“The Blessing of Abraham” was designed by God to be a “superimposed” will of God over the “death cyclic” algorithm causing purpose and a structure of blessing to rule His people.

The Apostle James speaks of Christians presumptuously walking in the algorithmic natural realm ruled by the darkness of the death cycle instead of a reliance upon God’s promises. It depicts superficial Christians who do not walk in a determination of God’s will, rather they walk in their natural fleshly life-plans:

James 4:13-16 NLT “Look here, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we are going to a certain town and will stay there a year. We will do business there and make a profit." (14) How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog—it's here a little while, then it's gone. (15) What you ought to say is, "If the Lord wants us to, we will live and do this or that." (16) Otherwise you are boasting about your own plans, and all such boasting is evil.”

Again we have this convergence of truth also found in Solomon’s writings:

Ecclesiastes 11:3-6 MSG “When the clouds are full of water, it rains. When the wind blows down a tree, it lies where it falls. (4) Don't sit there watching the wind. Do your own work. Don't stare at the clouds. Get on with your life. (5) Just as you'll never understand the mystery of life forming in a pregnant woman, So you'll never understand the mystery at work in all that God does. (6) Go to work in the morning and stick to it until evening without watching the clock. You never know from moment to moment how your work will turn out in the end.”

Page 8: Spiritual Algorithms of the Death Cycledonpickneyministries.org/images/Spiritual_algorithms_of... · 2017. 9. 12. · I watched story after story unfold and come to completion, each

8

But what God’s judgment of the algorithmic death cycle upon the natural randomness of Earth-life brings upon humanity, the Blessing of Abraham changes into order and divine purpose. Look at the contrast between the above words of Solomon and the Word of God to Israel:

Deuteronomy 28:2-14 MSG “All these blessings will come down on you and spread out beyond you because you have responded to the Voice of GOD, your God: (3) GOD's blessing inside the city, GOD's blessing in the country; (4) GOD's blessing on your children, the crops of your land, the young of your livestock, the calves of your herds, the lambs of your flocks. (5) GOD's blessing on your basket and bread bowl; (6) GOD's blessing in your coming in, GOD's blessing in your going out. (7) GOD will defeat your enemies who attack you. They'll come at you on one road and run away on seven roads. (8) GOD will order a blessing on your barns and workplaces; he'll bless you in the land that GOD, your God, is giving you. (9) GOD will form you as a people holy to him, just as he promised you, if you keep the commandments of GOD, your God, and live the way he has shown you. (10) All the peoples on Earth will see you living under the Name of GOD and hold you in respectful awe. (11) GOD will lavish you with good things: children from your womb, offspring from your animals, and crops from your land, the land that GOD promised your ancestors that he would give you. (12) GOD will throw open the doors of his sky vaults and pour rain on your land on schedule and bless the work you take in hand. You will lend to many nations but you yourself won't have to take out a loan. (13) GOD will make you the head, not the tail; you'll always be the top dog, never the bottom dog, as you obediently listen to and diligently keep the commands of GOD, your God, that I am commanding you today. (14) Don't swerve an inch to the right or left from the words that I command you today by going off following and worshiping other gods.”

On the other hand, reading the rest of the above biblical chapter will show you a placement within an environment where you are susceptible to a myriad of life consequences (curses) over which there is no control.

In Christ, through faith, we have the “Blessing of Abraham” if we will use our faith in God’s Word and believe His promises:

Galatians 3:13-14 MSG Christ redeemed us from that self-defeating, cursed life by absorbing it completely into himself. Do you remember the Scripture that says, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"? That is what happened when Jesus was nailed to the Cross: He became a curse, and at the same time dissolved the curse. (14) And now, because of that, the air is cleared and we can see that Abraham's blessing is present and available for non-Jews, too. We are all able to receive God's life, his Spirit, in and with us by believing--just the way Abraham received it.

“Que Sera Sera – Whatever will be, will be.” “If it’s your time to go… but if not you won’t.”

“To everything a season…”

Each of these sayings are speaking of the natural realm of Earth-Life and are a reflection of the

algorithmic cycle (of death) that was created in God’s wrath and came upon all of the Adamic

world. All of this is reflected in Apostle Paul’s letter to the Roman Christians:

1 Thessalonians 1:10 GNB “To wait for his Son to come from heaven---his Son Jesus, whom he raised from death and who rescues us from God's anger.”

Romans 8:20-28 NLT “Against its will, all creation was subjected to God's curse. But with eager hope, (21) the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God's children in glorious freedom from death and decay. (22) For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. (23) And we believers also groan, even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, for we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering. We, too, wait with eager hope for the day when God will give us our full rights as His adopted children, including the new bodies He has promised us. (24) We were given this hope when we were saved. (If we already have something, we don't need to hope for it. (25) But if we look forward to something we don't yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.) (26) And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don't know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. (27) And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God's own will. (28) And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them.”

1 Peter 3:10-12 NLT “For the Scriptures say, "If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies. (11) Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it. (12) The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and His ears are open to their prayers. But the Lord turns His face against those who do evil."

What does a life in Christ set you free from? Faith in Him and in God’s promises gives us victory

over the “Spiritual Algorithms of the Death Cycle.” The “world” has only uncertainty. Christ

offers a hope that anticipates results with purpose, and with confident assurance.

The World, the flesh, and the Devil

1 John 5:4-5 NLT “For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. (5) And who can win this battle against the world?

Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.”

Spiritual Algorithms of the Death Cycle – Part Two

© Copyright 2017 – Dr. Don G. Pickney

The purpose of Part Two of this subject is to identify from biblical scripture the internal

substance of the “Death Cycle,” or “The Law of Sin and Death.”

Romans 8:2 KJV For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Romans 8:2 AMP For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has freed me from the law of sin and of death.

Romans 8:2 MSG A new power is in operation. The Spirit of life in Christ, like a strong wind, has magnificently cleared the air, freeing you from a fated lifetime of brutal tyranny at the hands of sin and death.

THE LAW OF SIN & DEATH

THE DEATH

CYCLE

Page 11: Spiritual Algorithms of the Death Cycledonpickneyministries.org/images/Spiritual_algorithms_of... · 2017. 9. 12. · I watched story after story unfold and come to completion, each

11

“Sin and Death” is presented as a “law,” as much embedded into Earth-life as is the “Spirit of life” for those who have accepted Christ Jesus.

What we established in Part One:

Death is not a void filled with “nothing;” it is not something “waiting to happen someday;” nor

is it merely an “absence of what we determine to be life.” When God created “death” in His

wrath upon Adamic humanity, it was more than the mere “loss of life.” Both life and death

emanate from God’s divine hand – death is as much a creation of God as is life.

It is important here to re-establish the 7-fold nature of God; that He is a God of Love, Power,

Wisdom, Righteousness, Mercy, Justice and Judgment. It is also vital to understand that He is

all those things all the time; that they define is character and nature. He is not sometimes a

God of “love,” then at other times demonstrates the nature of “judgment.” God is love, and

there is no separating Himself from that characteristic of His nature. But God’s nature is

demonstrated in scriptural terms with all seven folds of His character. God is also a judge – the

judge of all the earth. (Gen. 18:25) As a God of love, He desires that no one perish, but that all

have “eternal life.” (2Pet. 3:9) Nevertheless, he demonstrates His Power also in judgment

which includes a “pouring out of His wrath.” (Rom. 1:18; Eph. 5:6) Romans 9:22 is a good

example of how these characteristics work together to bring forth God’s divine 7-fold nature:

Romans 9:22-24 AMP “What if God, although fully intending to show [the awfulness of] His wrath and to make known His power and authority, has tolerated with much patience the vessels (objects) of [His] anger which are ripe for destruction? [Prov. 16:4.] (23) And [what if] He thus purposes to make known and show the wealth of His glory in [dealing with] the vessels (objects) of His mercy which He has prepared beforehand for glory, (24) Even including ourselves whom He has called, not only from among the Jews but also from among the Gentiles (heathen)?”

Notice in the above scripture the various aspects of God’s 7-fold nature, all working in concert to fulfill His purpose.

We see Jesus depicting an analogy of this algorithmic definition of the Law of Sin and Death in

His parable of “the wise man and the foolish man.” As a noun, the word “random” means “an

unknown.” Their respective houses were built within the same “determined” stream of life

that will flow within the “death cycle” until the end of this age.

It is significant the “random” decision each of them displayed, and how it played a role in their

outcome. One thought carefully, while the other carelessly built his house, each without

Page 12: Spiritual Algorithms of the Death Cycledonpickneyministries.org/images/Spiritual_algorithms_of... · 2017. 9. 12. · I watched story after story unfold and come to completion, each

12

knowing that this “stream” was programmed with a myriad of destructive objectives that would

be influenced by how each of them built. The wise man heard Jesus’ sayings and acted upon

them, and out of his heart came a different issue of life as he was lifted above and set on a Rock

of refuge. It is important to understand: THIS LIFE-STREAM – BRINGING POTENTIAL DEADLY

RESULTS – DID NOT EXIST IN THE PRE-ADAMIC-SIN PERIOD – IT WAS CREATED WITHIN THE

WORLD OF THE LAW OF SIN AND DEATH.

Satan majors on implementing clever and crafty methods in attempts of influencing individuals

out of the safety of Christ and His kingdom benefits and into the “world” were the algorithmic

Law of Sin and Death exists in a “death cycle” that knows no favorites or discrimination against

anyone caught in its trap.

Think of it this way, the flood was set to act indiscriminately without regard to who was in the

way of the stream (representing Earth-life). With respect to the flood, each randomly chose

where to build their house, but the one wisely determined to listen to God’s instruction (not

merely being a hearer, but also a doer of Jesus’ life instructions), while the other carelessly

considered Jesus’ teachings without much effort to act upon them. The Flood represented the

Law of Sin and Death, from which the wise man found a place of safety (the Rock, representing

Jesus and His promises).

We find “death to consist of the “death cycle,” described in James 1:14-15, and in Romans 8:2

as the Law of Sin and Death. The question we are exploring is: What exactly is the “Law of Sin

and Death?”

In scripture, we clearly have identified various aspects of the commodity of this “law.” Here are

several internal influences within the “death cycle” as they immediately began to be

manifested after Adam’s sin:

1. Death is a “doom” that fills the entire world of the “death cycle,” a result of the Law of

Sin and Death. Doom is described (Oxford Dictionaries © Oxford University Press) from

its ancient origin from a base meaning “to put in place.” The term “mortal” means

death doomed. When God manifested His presence in the Garden of Eden, a set of

judgments were immediately determined, that in this teaching, we are calling an

“algorithm” of negative components making up humankind’s Earth existence as a result

of Adam’s sin:

A) First, Satan was reduced in position and authority to the lowest rank of any

being on Earth (Gen. 3:14) but was not shut out from his “roaming” about ;

B) Second, enmity (hatred, hostility) was placed between Satan and God’s

eternal plans for redemption (seed of the woman – Gen.3:15). This is the

reason for unending persecution of (1) the Jewish state; and (2) the Church;

C) Women would find “multiplied sorrow” or difficulties in child birth (Gen 3:16)

D) Man would find difficulty in labor, combined with a curse upon the ground to

bring forth any quality of food crops (Gen 3:17-18) This curse, as it applied to

the growing of crops was removed following Noah’s flood (Gen 8:21-22)

2. The act of “physical death” itself: the first “death” event in scripture seems to have

occurred in the very young ages of Adam’s sons, Cain and Abel, when at the very first of

their adult lives, Caleb slew Abel over a religious ceremonial event – the first murder

was over religious envy and strife between brothers. God warned Cain before he

committed an act of murder that “the Law of Sin and Death” was there ready to strike

for destruction:

Genesis 4:7 MSG “If you do well, won't you be accepted? And if you don't do well, sin is lying in wait for you, ready to pounce; it's out to get you, you've got to master it."

Notice the Algorithmic characteristics of the “death cycle” found in the above verse: “…lying in wait for you, ready to pounce, it’s out to get you…”

Let’s talk about the various aspects of Adam and Eve’s first experience with the death

cycle:

A) It meant the lost presence of a loved one;

B) It meant untold grief in the hearts of family and friends;

C) It meant often hardships of those left behind due to the loss of support of

the departed one from life;

D) It meant greater and long-term hurts as future physical deaths would be the

result of accidental deaths, or intentional acts of destruction.

After Cain slew his brother Abel, it is obvious that Eve suffered terribly as the “death cycle” affected her. When her next child was born, they named him Seth. In naming him, they showed respect to God’s promise in the Garden. It is supposed, would stand to reason, that she thought Seth to be “the seed” of which God referenced in His prophetic Word to Satan, “…and I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”

It is believed by scholars that Adam and Eve had thought that one of their first two sons would be that “savior” that God would use to destroy the power of Satan. But it had proven not to be as the one son, who might have been that “savior” was now dead, and the other had proven himself to be unfit and driven away to a nomadic existence in parts unknown to Adam and Eve. Now, with the birth of Seth, their hope was again renewed in God’s prophetic promise. They chose the name, Seth, meaning “substituted in his room,” in whom, and in whose family, the

14

true religion would be preserved, and from whom the Messiah, the promised seed, would spring see Gal_3:16.

This also evidences that Adam and Eve were worshippers and believers in God and His love, power, wisdom, righteousness, mercy, justice and judgment; that they taught these precepts to their children. Not realizing that they were siring dispensations of humankind for thousands of years ahead, they were expectant of the “promised one” who would “bruise the head” of the serpent. Interestingly, Seth named his son, Enos, meaning “mankind,” indicating that now they were coming to understand in more generational terms linear genealogy, that mankind was in fact a creature destined for the passing of years and eventually centuries and millenniums.

3. Wickedness without and extreme “baseness” within human nature:

A. In Genesis, Chapter Six, mankind, separated from God’s presence, has

become only wicked as their hearts became depraved, and as Satan began

finding strategies to further corrupt them in sinfulness. In verses 3-5 God

determines to allow mankind 120 years to change, otherwise he would bring

the “death cycle” to a final end, and destroy them from the face of the earth.

Genesis 6:3-7 KJV “And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. (4) There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. (5) And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (6) And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. (7) And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.”

B. In Genesis, Chapter Nine, immediately following the flood, we see God blessing Noah, giving them a fresh start, and setting them apart with a special “ceremonial authority” given them. God reiterates the authority of man given to Adam, repeating it almost word for word, and expanding his food supply to include animals as well as vegetables.

But almost before the blessing could unfold, wickedness overtakes them following the development of a vineyard in which Noah became intoxicated and passed out in his private tent. Here we have the story of Ham (who was the father of Caanan, which became known as the land of the Philistines, and

Page 15: Spiritual Algorithms of the Death Cycledonpickneyministries.org/images/Spiritual_algorithms_of... · 2017. 9. 12. · I watched story after story unfold and come to completion, each

15

was given over to unimaginable sexual behaviors). Ham showed a deviate perversion as he illegitimately entered the tent of his father, Noah, and while he lay in a stupor, uncovered him, finding him naked. What exactly happened is not determined in scripture except to say that it was bad enough for Noah to pronounce a curse upon Ham and Canaan and their descendants.

John Gill writes in his commentary:

“Had it been through surprise, and at an unawares, would not have been thought criminal; but be went into his father's tent, where he ought not to have entered; he looked with pleasure and delight on his father's nakedness: Ham is represented by many writers as a very wicked, immodest, and profligate creature: Berosus speaks of him as the public corrupter of mankind; and says that he taught men to live as before the flood, to lie with mothers, sisters, daughters, males and brutes, and creatures of all sorts; and that he actually did so himself, and therefore was cast out by his father Janus, or Noah, and got the name of "Chem", the infamous and immodest:

and told his two brethren without; he went out of the tent after he had pleased himself with the sight; see Hab_2:15 and in a wanton, ludicrous, and scoffing manner, related what he had seen: some of the Jewish Rabbins (k), as Jarchi relates, say that Canaan first saw it, and told his father of it; and some say (l), that he or Ham committed an unnatural crime with him; but these things are said without foundation: what Noah's younger son did unto him, besides looking on him, we are not told, yet it was such as brought a curse on Canaan; and one would think it would be more than bare sight, nay, it is expressly said there was something done, but what is not said, Gen_9:24.”

In any case, the algorithmic “death cycle” was at work, with no stopping it as the Law of Sin and Death continued manifesting in the Earth-lives of Adamic mankind at every turn.

C. In Genesis, Chapter Eleven, following the period known as “the days of

Noah,” we see the story of mankind, and the city being built in the land of

Shinar. As a crowning part of the city, it was unanimously determined to

build a tower (temple) for worship to the “heavens” themselves (as opposed

to the God of Noah). It is believed by both theologians Gill and Clarke that

this city was given over to idolatrous worship of the sun, moon, and stars as

could be seen with the naked eye of the universe. A broad spectrum of

scholars agree that this was the advent of “spiritualism” and the religious

practice of astrology, the tower serving as a kind of temple for worship.

God’s judgment is seen coming down upon them, confounding their

language, and scattering them across the face of the earth, originating the

“beginning of nations” across the globe.

All through biblical history, we see the Law of Sin and Death illustrated in scripture. But we also

see the promises of protection and deliverance from its harmful effects on those who put their

trust in God.

Psalms 91 tells of the person who “dwells in the secret place of the Almighty.” They declare

Almighty God to be their “refuge, their fortress, their God.” Nothing harms them, and “only

with their eyes” to they see around them these horrific results of the Law of Sin and Death.

With “long life He satisfies them and shows them His salvation.” A “thousand fall at their side

and ten thousand at their right hand.” But it does not come near them!

The message of the gospel of Christ, and the promises to those who cleave to Him and put their

trust in His Word, is the answer to deliverance from the horrible dark place of the Law of Sin

and Death.

As believers, we can know the outcomes of life. We can have it settled within us how the

future will turn out. Taking the “shield of faith,” we will learn the principles of believing God’s

Word and speaking it in confidence.

In the last segment of my dream, I saw myself in the midst of the events continuing to unfold as

countless people fell to destructive means as they had done throughout my dream. There I

walked freely through the street that I came to know as “life’s pathway.” I met those that in

the dream I knew were my friends who would stop and talk with me. I was aware that some of

them were brothers and sisters in Christ. I would warn them of the dangers of not putting their

trust completely in God and His Word, but many would just go on as though I had not warned

them. Shortly after, I would see them suddenly fall and succumb to death that permeated the

air. Time and time again I saw the destructions that affected those around me, yet I walked

unharmed throughout the remainder of my dream.

I watched as those that I knew in the dream were Christians, as they seemed to be living life

oblivious to their need to draw closer to the Lord. I watched families leave worship, where they

had praised and given thanks to God, then as quickly as they were out of church, they became

instantly drunk on life’s pleasures. Their faces, and even those of their little children, and

youth, were literally intoxicated on natural life and its pleasures. Their eyes glazed with

drunken pleasure, their parents indulged their every desire on the things of this world. There

was no time for God in their lives outside of church worship. The Angel said familiar words to

me: “This is not just another family game.” The devil’s out to kill us – no time to play his games.

I looked up into the sky at the brightest sunny skies imaginable as the light permeated my

pathway. I watched as single Christians, couples and families, drunk with life’s pleasures, paid

little attention as they and their kids stumbled intoxicatingly out of the brightly lit skies, and

moved under horrific dark and lowering skies, unaware that they were headed into storms, and

a world filled with misery.

I was also reminded of the narrowness of our “walk” in life during this very polluted and

corrupted society, and how easy the world makes it for us to step out into their culture. Our

ability to enjoy and experience the glory in the Day of Jehovah Tsaba depends upon us making

our “dwelling place” the Zion of God. We cannot afford to get loose in our steps, and find

ourselves trapped in an environment filled with the horrors of the Law of Sin and Death.

Psalms 84:4-7 AMP Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are those who dwell in Your house and Your presence; they will be singing Your praises all the day long. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]! (5) Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man whose strength is in You, in whose heart are the highways to Zion. (6) Passing through the Valley of Weeping (Baca), they make it a place of springs; the early rain also fills [the pools] with blessings. (7) They go from strength to strength [increasing in victorious power]; each of them appears before God in Zion.

The age-old message to those who are lost without Christ is:

Romans 1:18 AMP For God's [holy] wrath and indignation are revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who in their wickedness repress and hinder the truth and make it inoperative

John 3: 16 “God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

John 3:36 AMP And he who believes in (has faith in, clings to, relies on) the Son has (now possesses) eternal life. But whoever disobeys (is unbelieving toward, refuses to trust in, disregards, is not subject to) the Son will never see (experience) life, but [instead] the wrath of God abides on him. [God's displeasure remains on him; His indignation hangs over him continually.]

LORD do all these things. (8) Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness

spring up together; I the LORD have created it.
