UNIT RATES include all services, labor, materials, supplies, and any other costs incurred toprovide the specified services. All applicable taxes, fees and charges shall be added asseparate line items as listed on Schedule C. The GET, currently 4.5% for sales made on Oahuand 4% for sales made on the islands of Hawaii, Maui, Kauai, Lanai and Molokai, may be addedto the invoice as a separate line item and shall not exceed the current rate for that island.Charges from these schedules shall be based on applying the applicable rates listed to theselected service as detailed below.

COMPLIANCE. Prior to awarding a contract, the SPO verified compliance of the Contractorwith all laws governing entities doing business in the State pursuant to HRS §1 03D-310(c), andSPO will monitor compliance throughout the term of the contract via Hawaii ComplianceExpress (HCE). Therefore, purchasing agencies are not required to verify vendor complianceprior to utilizing a SPO Price or Vendor List Contract.
