1 | 601 Bexley Rd Greg Goergen and Marilyn MedlockHomeowners, Greg and Marilyn, moved in six years ago, looking for quality brick construction. When they purchased this home in Hills and Dales, they wasted no time renovating the kitchen and adding an expanded living space off the back. The property is unique due to its ‘island’ location that you really have to see to appreciate. They love the original hardwoods in the home, enjoy the unique styles of architecture found in Hills and Dales, and that they are close to Purdue University.

2 | 1425 Ravinia Rd Jack and Leta KelleyThe warm home of Leta and Jack Kelley was built in 2002, and took two and a half years to construct. The home is simple, open air with rich wooden floors and furniture of cherry and hickory. Both Jack and Leta designed the home which includes Jack’s woodworking shop in the lower level and his aquarium built into a large window well.

3 | 616 Hillcrest Rd Craig and Monica Schaefer The Schaefers purchased their ‘forever home’13 years ago. Built in 1939, the original house would have been considered tiny by today’s standards. Since 1939, the original owners added an addition and Schaefer’s added on as well. With the beautifully updated and expanded kitchen, living spaces, and bedrooms, the home now perfectly meets the needs of their entire family. They love the Hills and Dales neighborhood its beauty and for the dedication the residents have to preserving their homes.

4 | 1515 Ravinia Rd Troy and Angela JanesTroy and Angela Janes have resided at this Garrison Colonial house, built in 1941, for 5 years. They added the front porch and portico last year to improve the facade of the home, as well as painted the outside brick. The owners enjoy repurposing old furniture and have reupholstered several pieces with lovely, rich fabric. In 1992, there was a major addition to the original home, adding a family room on the lower level and an additional staircase to the upstairs rooms.
