Dear Conference Attendee:
Welcome to NAWDP’s 21st Annual Virtual Youth Symposium!
This year has been filled with challenges related to the global pandemic, leading to the cancellation of our Annual Conference and the transition from an in-person Youth Symposium to a virtual event. Although we wish we were meeting in person, the NAWDP Event’s Committee has done an outstanding job of developing an event schedule full of informative and timely workshops that you expect from any NAWDP in-person event.
Professional development is more important than ever as workforce development professionals serve as essential workers in getting customers back to work in a turbulent economic environment. NAWDP is dedicated to providing quality profession-al development that is easily accessible so you can develop your skills to assist your customers better.
In the Fall of 2020, NAWDP rolled out a Virtual Academy series focusing on five dis-tinct areas of interest. The success of these Virtual Academies has led to preparations for continuation throughout 2021.
We are grateful for your dedication to your professional development, and we hope you will learn many new skills over the next few days that you can apply in your day-to-day work. NAWDP is here for you. If we can be of any help, please reach out to us.
