WELCOME
Dear Sponsors and Exhibitors,
It gives us great pleasure to invite you to London for the Royal College of Emergency
Medicine’s (RCEM) 2017 Annual CPD Conference. This conference is key for the ongoing
professional development of Emergency Physicians in the UK and will be the first for our current
president, Dr Tajek B Hassan since taking up the position in September 2016.
The conference will be held at etc.venues 155 Bishopsgate, centrally located in the City of
London next to Liverpool Street station. Our sponsors and exhibitors will be able to benefit from
a wide range of standard and bespoke packages, which have been carefully designed to
ensure that supporting this conference will provide maximum visibility for your business to make
this a real success. You will be able to exhibit in the heart of the venue which measures 10,000
square metres, taking advantage of a range of services. Plus, our drinks reception will also give
you the opportunity to network with delegates in an informal setting.
Natalie Choi and the team at RCEM Headquarters are available to liaise with you to ensure
that our approach is personalised, bespoke to your requirements, alternatively you may want
to take advantage of our money saving value packages. The Royal College of Emergency
Medicine and the team at etc.venues 155 Bishopsgate will also attend to your needs including
logistics for your stand, Business Centre services, free wi-fi and a range of attractive options to
help you to maximise traffic to your stand.
This year we expect to attract on average 400 delegates per day, the vast majority of whom
will be consultant grade Emergency Medicine Doctors. Our aim is to provide a platform for the
presentation of best practice in clinical care from our growing and dynamic specialty, whilst
also creating an environment in which our delegates, sponsors and exhibitors enjoy the
opportunities to network and celebrate our mutual passions for emergency care.
We hope that you will be excited about this opportunity as we at the Royal College of
Emergency Medicine are, and that you will join us in London as we celebrate the cutting edge
of Emergency Medicine.
Yours Sincerely,
Dr Carole Gavin
CPD Director
