INTRODUCTION

WELCOME

The McDowell Mountain Music Festival (MMMF) invites you to become a sponsor of the 12th Annual McDowell Mountain Music Festival. MMMF has become Arizona’s musical and cultural destination to experience a variety of musical genres with roots from all corners of the world. Since its inception in 2004, headline performers have included David Crosby, The Black Crowes, Ben Harper and Charlie Musselwhite, Dwight Yoakam, Michael Franti, The Shins, Slightly Stoopid, Umphrey’s McGee and many others. MMMF is the only 100% non-profit music festival in Arizona. Designed to promote three elements – community involvement, corporate participation and philanthropy – MMMF exists to support, entertain and educate the community. All of the proceeds from the festival will benefit two (2) local, family-based, non-profits: Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation and UMOM New Day Center.

Your sponsorship will allow us the opportunity to continue the ultimate Party for the People by creating a unique, cultural event that gives back. Keep in mind, your affiliation with MMMF will allow you to be showcased before a demographically desirable and diverse audience.

Phoenix Children’s Hospital recently completed a major expansion to meet the needs of the Southwest’s rapid population growth. The hospital’s expansion also includes an aggressive physician recruitment effort and new satellite centers in high growth areas of the Valley.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

VIP AREAThe VIP experience includes catered meals, five beers or mixed drinks, access to the Poser Deck (where you can be up close and personal with your favorite bands), as well as private “luxury” bathrooms and valet parking; plus, many other amenities only found within the VIP area.

KID ZONEArts and crafts, stilt walkers and drum circles are some of the activities that can be found at the Kid Zone. Kids and adults of all ages participate in a daily parade that takes places around the entire festival.

CAMPINGSixty camping spaces provide a home for the hardcore festival enthusiast. The camping lots are located near the festival grounds and include camping for four people, showers, trash disposal, and toilets.

LOCAL STAGEThe local stage features eleven of Arizona’s finest up and coming bands. Four of the top local bands are given a spot on the main stage in the following year’s festival. The added local talent exposure enhances the cultural experience for all the attendees.

MARKETPLACEThe vendor marketplace features twenty vendors from all over the country. Handmade jewelry, hula-hoops and face painting are a few of the vendors that have participated in the past years.

RECYCLE - COMPOSTThe environmental impact of the festival is important to the sustainability of the event. Trash, recycle and compost bins are located throughout the festival grounds. 100% compostable products are used by all of the food and beverage vendors at the event.
