MyBackground

Itookupthegameattherelativelylateageof14yearsoldbutachievedrapidinroads,reachingthetopechelonsoftheamateurgamebytheageof18withahandicapof0.Havingplayedin4consecutiveBritishAmateursandspending4yearsintheUSAstudyingatOldDominionUniversity,VirginiawhereIcaptainedtheMen’sGolfTeam,IturnedprofessionalattheendofAugust2013.

Now28yearsold,IamcurrentlybasedintheUK,Marlow,Buckinghamshire.

IamatouringprofessionalpredominantlyfocusingontheEuroProTourandChallengeTourusingCastleRoyleGolfandCountryClubasmybase,whereIamformerlyattached.

InmyrookieseasonthatstemmedfromDec2013–Nov2014Ienjoyedalotofsuccesswhichstartedbybattlingthrough2separateQSchoolsandobtainingfulltourcardsonboththeAlpsTourandEuroProTour.ThroughouttheseasonIplayedsolidly,climbingtheAlpsTourOrderofMeritinsearchfor1of5ChallengeTourCardswhileplayingafewUKbasedeventstofillingaps.Asaresultofmycarefullyplannedscheduling,Iwon3separateevents,on3differenttourswhichincludedtheJamegaTour,TPTourandAlpsTour.

MymostnotableachievementsofarhasbeenbecomingtheCitadelleTrophyInternational2014Champion(AlpsTour)andearningthehighestplayingcategoryavailableonTheAlpsTourfor2015and2016.Ihavenowbeengivenafullmedicalexemptionfor2017.

Finishing24thontheAlpsTourOrderofMeritandnegotiatingthroughto2ndStageofEuropeanTourQSchoolin2014hasgivenmeahugeconfidenceboostmovingforward.

I’verecentlyreturnedfromabackinjury,whichkeptmefrombeingabletocompetethroughthemajorityof2015andhinderedmyperformancethrough2016.I’mhappytoreportthatIamnowbacktofullfitnessduetohardworkinthegymandplentyofrestingmyspine.

Myaspirationsaretobecomeaworldclasstouringprofessional,competingonthehigheststage.WithhardworkanddeterminationaswellasbeingunderthewatchfuleyeofRobWattsasmygolfandfitnesscoach,Iaimtomakethisdreamareality.

GoalsandAmbitions

Althoughinjuredthroughmuchof2015,mygoalistobuilduponmysuccessin2014andsteadyplayin2016withtheintentionofobtainingaEuropeanTourorafullChallengeTourcategorywithinthenext2years.

Ihavegivenmyselfatimeconstraintof2yearsbecauseIfeellikethisisenoughtimetodevelopasaprofessional,yetstillcontinuetoimproveandcompeteatthisparticularlevel.

I’mluckytohavethesupportfromCastleRoylenowIamformerlyattachedthere.IhopetofollowinthefootstepsofotherlocalplayerslikeTyrellHattonandEddiePepperellwhohaveenjoyedsimilarsupportfromtheirhomeclubsandarenowplayingatthehighestlevelinEurope.

Ultimately,if/whenaFullChallengeTour/EuropeanTourcategoryisachieved;IwilllooktobuildupontheexperiencesgainedplayingonthesetoursinordertobecomeoneofthebestEuropeanplayerswithin5years.

1-2YearDevelopmentTourPlan

Thenatureofanaspiringtouringprofessionalissuchthatthereisaperiodoftimewhichneedstobespentlearninghowtoplaythegamewhenmoney/prizewinningsareinvolved.Manygoodamateursfailtomakethistransitionsuccessfullyeveniftheyhadastronginternationalcareertothatpoint.

I’vebeenfortunatetohaveaverygoodfirstyearasaprofessionaltobuildupon,asitisarareoccurrencethatarookieshouldwinaneventinhisfirstyearcompetingontour.TheconfidencethatIhavegainedwinninghaselevatedmetoanewlevelandfullybelievethatIhavetheabilitytoreachmygoalsandambitionsofbeingoneofthebestinEurope.

Mydevelopmenthasbeensteadyandconstantthroughoutmygolfingcareer,havingtolearnfasterthanothersaftertakingupthesportrelativelylatecomparedtomypeers.Ihavealreadysurpassedmanyofthosewhoweredeemedmoretalentedorskilledatayoungerage.

AftergainingthehighestandmostsoughtaftercategoryontheAlpsTour(AT1–TournamentWinner)in2014,myMedicalexemptionhasbeenextendedthroughtotheendof2017,whichsecuresmyplayingrightsintoeverytournamentthroughout2017.HopefullyIwillalsohavesomeChallengeToureventsdottedthroughmyplayingschedule.

Myaimbytheendofthe2017seasonistohaveobtainedmyfullplayingrightsontheChallengeTourorEuropeanTourforthe2018season.

Inordertoraisethisdesiredamountthroughsponsorship,therearemanythingsthatIcandoasgolfprofessionalthatmaybenefit,enhanceorentertaincertainaspectsofyourbusiness.

Theleveloftimespentwiththecompanyandstaff,wherethelogoissituatedonclothingandoverallpackageIcanofferwillbeproportionatetotheamountproposedforsponsorshipbyparticipatingbusinesses.Iftheamountweretobesplitevenly,thensowouldmytime.Howevershouldonecompanywishtoofferthemajorityoftheamountproposedthentheywouldbethebusinesstoreceivetheprimelocationforembroideredlogos(chestorhat)andmoretimespentforgolfdaysandevents.
