Our aim is to inspire the next generation of young women to maintain an active interest in sport, health and fitness

We will do this through the creation of a simple but effective campaign linking:

parents with daughters, families with sport and brands with communities

In 2014 we will deliver a programme that will make a real difference in Irish society and create a positive halo effect around the brands that support us.

Our motivation is based on wanting boys and girls, sons and daughters to have the same chance of maintaining a fit and active lifestyle.

Why equality of opportunity in sport is so important

55% Vs 39%

Women Executives in US who played sport to college level Vs Standard

83% Vs 66%

The Number of Boys aged 16-19 who played sport in Ireland last week Vs the number of girls

We can encourage positive choices on sport for girls that will change lives and change our society for the better.

It starts with a simple online pledge “I will take my daughter to

a sports event which will show her that sport is for women just as much as it is for men.”

We will work with an initial ten sports to identify: The right events The best role models

We will build from within, targeting an initial 5,000 girls and their families, across the ten sports and in every county of Ireland
