Sport in my life

Hello. I am Lera. I am 10. I live in Moscow, in Russia. I go to school 1935.

This winter our country will hold Winter Olympic Games in Sochi. I can see a lot of mascots of these games everywhere.As for me I like Leopard. He is very sporty.

I think I am sporty. I like swimming. I go in for swimming 4 times a week. When I was 3 months old my mother and I went to the swimming pool for babies. I learned to swim there.

I was in poor health in my childhood that’s why I began to swim. And swimming did wonders. In 2010 we moved into a new flat. And, can you imagine, there was a swimming pool not far from our house!

I like my aqua trainer Alexander Postovoy. I can swim different swimming styles and jump into the water with his help. He gives me a lot of good advice. He is always merry but sometimes he is very strict.

Last spring we had swimming competitions. I did my best but I was not the first. My mother supported and cheered me all the time. I hope I will be first next time and some day I will take part in world swimming competitions.
