FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Sports Industry Announces Newest Public Relations Professional RICHMOND, VA (Feb. 9, 2016) Kelli Noeska is the newest Public Relations Professional to enter and join the Sports Industry! She is a young, new, creative mind who will be a great addition to the industry. Kelli is 21 years old graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University in the Fall of 2016. She will have a bachelor's degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Business. In the past Summer 2015, Kelli was the first Public Relations Intern for Hilldrup Moving and Storage and United Van lines. This was her first real world and hands on experience to delve into the PR Industry. She was in charge of maintaining and updating company information and records, and really getting a start and grasp of the PR side for the company. Kelli has also been part of the VCU Gold Rush Dance team for a total of four years, and has been fortunate to work with many different organizations and volunteer groups. She has done volunteer work and visits at the VCU Children’s Hospital, performance and awareness for the American Heart Association, and media and advertising for the Richmond NASCAR International Raceway. Kelli has also worked for the SPCA designing and making a pamphlet for their PR and advertising side of the organization. She has also worked for VCU’s very own RamPantry on the external team devising a media plan to expand the organization. Kelli is also a school ambassador for the Love Your Melon Campaign to help raise money and awareness for childhood cancer. Some other skills and experience Kelli has worked with is in graphic design in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, Microsoft Office, and social media coverage. She has had the opportunity to shadow Greg Margheim, the athletic director of Mountain View High school. Kelli is looking to use her skills and past experiences to grow and evolve in the Sports Industry, She is hoping to get involved in the Sports PR Industry at the collegiate or professional level.
