3. Obinna Michael Durumchukwa , 34, a Nigerian

international was celebrating his birthday in his rented flat with his friends Nwabu Chukwuma , 22, and John Okoro , 33, with bottles of beer. A certain topic came up during their conversations, and soon, things went out of hand. Durumchukwa flung a glass at Chukwuma – which he dodged – causing it to shatter after hitting a wall. The latter then picked up a shard from the broken glass and proceeded to slash his friend's throat in a fit of uncontrollable rage.

This incident took place in the outskirts of Mumbai very recently. What was the (not so) trivial reason behind this tragic incident?

*5. X on Y, in an interview on November 8th, 2015:

“I woke up on Wednesday morning at 5am, switched on the radio and heard the news. It’s the main news story here in South Africa and that just shows the respect that he carries. We toured New Zealand in 1994 but he wasn’t in the team then. We’d heard about this youngster that was playing sevens and was just destroying oppositions.

Then he pitched up in a few tests, and later on, grabbed the imagination of the world. But my greatest moment with Y was having lunch in Paris in 2007 with my two boys, Jean and Stephane.

In their eyes the only important man around the lunch table was Y, not their old dad.

It was such a long, incredible lunch, chatting about sport and about people and that’s why I say he was just as big a giant off the field as he was on it.”

Very simple. X and Y, please.

9. The plot of most of X's cartoons centered on his antics in the fictional Jellystone Park, a variant of the real Yellowstone National Park. X, accompanied by his constant companion ______, would often try to steal picnic baskets from campers in the park, much to the displeasure of Park Ranger Smith. X's girlfriend, Cindy, sometimes appeared and usually disapproved of X's antics. X's name was similar to that of contemporary American icon Y, who was known for his amusing quotes, such as “Half the lies they tell about me aren't true." Y sued Hanna-Barbera for defamation, but their management claimed that the similarity of the names was just a coincidence. Y withdrew his suit, but the defense was considered implausible and sources now report that Y was the inspiration for the name. At the time X first hit TV screens, Y was a household name.
